Beautiful place. A cosy, lovely sanctuary with everything (even yeast). We even got a bottle of wine and some apple cake to welcome us. As a foreigener: in summer there is heat. REAL heat. If you are not used to the clima, keep in mind... And yes: there are mosquitos. If you want to unwind, reload your batteries, go to that wonderful, peaceful place. The surrounding area is calming as well and close by there is Osijek, the fourth-largest city in Croatia - very pretty Baroque style.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. The location is nicely secluded, offering peace and privacy, while the spacious yard was perfect for relaxing outdoors. Drvena bajka is a true hidden gem! The wooden design gives it a cozy, natural vibe that makes you feel at home right away. Rooms are spotless, very clean, and beds are super comfortable, just what you need for a great rest. They’re not too big, but perfectly sized for a peaceful stay. I didn’t get to try the food, but from what I’ve seen and heard, it’s definitely something to come back for. The staff was incredibly kind, they even offered me a late check out since there were no other guests at the time. That kind of flexibility is a big plus! The location is easy to reach, surrounded by nature, and close to Osijek, Kopački rit, and good local restaurants. All in all, highly recommended.
