The location is amazing, quiet and beautiful area with the bus stop right outside the house (bus 1A to go the old town and come back, it just takes about 15/20min and the ticket is 2€ per person) Thank you so much for everything Ivica, we will definitely be back!

Located in Mokošica in the Dubrovačko-Neretvanska županija region, with Rijeka Beach nearby, Apartments Siblings has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. the property is freshly renovated, everything is nice and modern. the location is a bit far out, but if you have a car travelling is not a problem
It's like any other typical suberb. 10-12 kms away from main town centre. Nothing much to see and do there except a few of restaurants but it's quite accessible from Dubrovnik Old Town by Taxi/Uber so commute is not a big issue. If you can afford it then best to stay near to the Dubrovnik Old Town to get the best out of your stay
Very quiet and safe neighbourhood, shops and restaurants open every day, until late. Excellent public transport, regular and cheap. Swimming is allowed almost everywhere, clean sea water. Beaches are mostly stone/pebble, only very few sand. Nova Mokošica has two very good local restaurants: Laus and Šica. Large portions, small prices. The staff speak English. Because of the landscape, walking means using stairs, a lot. Dubrovnik and its surroundings are not for people with a walking impairment or for people who tire easily. Stari grad (Old City) is both interesting and a tourist trap. Every third shop sells Game of Thrones stuff. If, like me, you never watched GoT this is really annoying.
If you are planning via public transport, watch out for exact public transport bus number as both 1a and 1b are named as Mokosica/Nova mokosica but drop yo at places which can be really really far off from your hotel.
Unfortunately, the host's extraordinary perception of the guest (visitor) as an active actor in the tourism business chain cannot be compared to the attitude of local "domestic" tourists and some locals who are not active in the "tourism service" (neighbors of the house we stayed in). Unfortunately, they divide guests between desirable and undesirable on a national basis. As guests, we have felt this extremely well at least twice in 8 days on small but important matters, such as parking the car or giving general information. We consider ourselves among the "frequent traveler's" guests (since we travel regularly), so we argue that as Slovenes in the neighboring country we are much more undesirable than, say, Austrians, Germans or other guests from more distant countries in Croatia. However, we still point out that due to the proximity of the destination, knowledge of the local language, natural beauty and the givenness of Croatia, we return to the location. Undoubtedly, we broadened our horizons while visiting the entire "Dubrovnik Republic". That is why, last but not least, we appreciate the effort and hospitality of the host all the more.
By leaving next to Dubrovnik river (Ombla) and in the green atmosphere of Croatian village, while be able to take a 15 minutes bus drive to the old town - which is too crowded - is the best way to experience this special city. The host - Paulina - is a journalist, who knows every little aspect of this amazing town, and happy to spend the time with us, and providing all the "secret tips" that most of the visitors (including many residents) don't know. My car was safely parked in perfect underground garage, and needless to say that the value for money was much more then my best expectations.
A nice quiet place to stay. The pub (open air) was excellent as was the restaurant about ten minutes walk away was excellent also. Both by the water and open air tables available , booking for the restaurant is advisable.

Very nice apartment, perfect for a group of 4 people. Good localization in Mokosica, a short drive or bus ride away from the very heart of Old Town of Dubrovnik. Some places to eat for the locals with reasonable prices can be found nearby. Parking on the flat surface with easy access from the flat street. Bus stop just in front. Very friendly and communicative owner, who greets you to handle over the keys. Strongly recommend. Will stay there again when next time in Dubrovnik.

Nice dining places near the fjord. Best choice on Dubrovnik as you will reach town in just a few minutes and Mokosica is very quiet and relaxing.
Nice traditional hotel next to the water and close to the Marina. Room was comfortable. Nice outside terrace and good restaurant.
