Featuring a large garden with an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities, Guest House Valentino is located 2.2 mi from the picturesque town of Motovun. Great value, just a short drive to Motovun. Ivan was super nice host. Breakfast is really nice touch. We only stay here one night, but would definitely stay here again. We highly recommend this guest house.
Featuring a restaurant, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, and a garden, Villa Fragola offers accommodations in Motovun with free WiFi and garden views. I can’t remember his name but one of the owners literally gave us the shirt off his back, we made a comment about how we wanted one because it was a local wine shirt and he brought it over the next day after washing it. The place is beautiful and has great views of the city.
Featuring spectacular views of the countryside, Apartman Kaštel is located in Motovun. This apartment can accommodate up to 6 people and offers free WiFi and air conditioning. Apartment was spacious with lots of character; loved the swimming pool in the health club below the hotel - really refreshing after as hot morning visiting Motovun
Motovun is a magical hill-top town full of ancient cobblestones, wild fig trees, bags of atmosphere and fabulous views. Be aware that most of the streets are steep with uneven cobblestones but that it's worth it for the panoramic views from the top of the medieval walls. Take a walk on the ramparts after dinner to see the stars.
A small, warm and well-preserved medieval city. Walking the streets (better say hills) of the city makes you feel like a damsel and a knight... (Just remember not to wear high heels - impossible to walk in Motovun like that :) And you must try truffles!!! Definitely worth seeing 👍👍👍
A fantastic town perched high on a hill, views to die for and with the most amazing opportunities to experience truffles. Take the truffle tour, it is an experience to remember, the tasting experience afterwards along with the cooking demonstration was a joy, all in a relaxed environment.
Motovun is a charming ancient walled city. Nestled in a valley, the city boasts stunning views on clear days. The city is small, but has several good places to eat. Walking around the edge of the wall is relaxing and a good way to take in the views. The streets are steep and cobbled and fun to explore on foot. Motovun is a quick drive from coastal locations (30 minutes from Novigrad; 45 minutes from Porec; 60 minutes from Rovinj), which makes it a great place to explore the Istrian Peninsula.
An interesting hilltop town worth including on your travel plans in this region of Croatia. Wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Good food and wine. Friendly and helpful people. Especially lovely once the bus loads of tourists have departed.
Really nice historic town. Busy with tourists during the day but great early morning or from early evening. Need to pay to go round the wall walk with its great views but free after 18.00 until around 9.00.
Beautiful property, fantastic location, very comfortable rooms, lovely restaurant and of course great wines. Excellent value for the price.
Excellent location, superb service, very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms.
