It is in a great location. The availability and a good schedule of water taxis allowed access to Dubrovnik and Cavtat and all the amenities they offer but without having to stay in more expensive and overcrowded popular tourist destinations. Kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable staff, clean and beautifully maintained facilities. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of a big variety of foods. What was most impressive is that we had a very early departure and were offered coffee and breakfast to wait for us at such an early hour.

Big nice hotel with lot of facilities. Clean modern and well maintained. Has a small private pebble beach. Nice breakfast spread. Easy to reach airport and old town. Tip: If you don't plan to visit many off road locations, it's easy to reach with Uber. No need to rent a car.

I had an amazing time staying at the Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik. After a stressful car issue in Bosnia forced me to change my plans abruptly and head to Dubrovnik instead of Kotor, the hotel welcomed me with such warmth and professionalism. From the moment I stepped in until the moment I checked out, the service was flawless. The room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and stocked with all the amenities you’d ever need plus thoughtful extras. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt clean, premium, and well-maintained. I stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the Dubrovnik coastline, and it was absolutely worth it. Sitting outside with a view of the Old Town and the endless horizon was truly special. The bathroom was also generous in size, with a large bathtub perfect for soaking after a long day of exploring. Morning breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that tasted just as good as they looked. The location couldn’t be more perfect. It’s an easy and pleasant walk to and from Old Town, making it convenient yet still peaceful. I highly recommend Hotel Excelsior to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. I will definitely return every time I come back.

It was perfect! Food was great (we had only breakfast but it had everything), staff is really friendly and helpful. Location is great as it has the beach in the front, the old town 5-10 minutes walk and a lot of other activities like pool, gym and a room with table-tennis and other things.

I went on a mother daughter trip to Dubrovnik and we wanted end it on a more relaxed note after staying in the old town. We could not have had a better check in experience, the staff were exceedingly lovely to myself and my mom, and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a bigger room. My mom was over the moon happy with the accommodation, we had never been on a vacation like this before so it truly meant so much to both her and me. Mlini is close enough to Dubrovnik to still have access to the main sites while feeling secluded enough by the beachside. It was a great way to end our trip.

The hotel was beautifully presented…spotlessly clean. Facilities were great. We stayed bed and breakfast…good choices and tables cleared immediately. Lovely outdoor area to sit too. Great pool area…loads of sunbeds …spa facilities a great treat! Also used the sunbed area near the sea and ate and drank at the restaurant. Rooms were spacious and again spotless.
