Hotel in Zadar
Located in a peaceful area of Zadar, Hotel Kolovare offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. I was staying one night in the hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very helpful, the food was delicious, and the pool was really great. You can see the sea from your balcony, and it is right behind you, when you chill next to the salt watered pool. So if you want, you just go outside the hotel, walk down the stairs, and the beach is right there. The hotel is near to the old city, and the sea organ, about 20 minutes if you walk, but there is an electronic roller dock at the other side of the street, it's really cool, there are other docks in the city where you can leave your roller after use. You just have to download an app to registrate to it. Afterall, I highly recommend this accomodation of you come to Zadar.

Zadar is a nice small town in the Adriatic coast line. It has a beautiful historic center and beautiful beaches are nearby. We stayed here for 4 days, and for us, it was enough to see the main sights in the city and explore some of the surrounding islands and beaches.
A bit disappointing...the nightlife is pretty non chill, we found only one club in the old town that was open and had nice music...the worst are the beaches...not very well kept, not a lot of places where you can find sunbeds and umbrellas, a lot of rocks too so make sure you bring water shoes....overall, I am glad I went there, but I don't expect to go back anytime soon.
Zadar is a nice city but it lives on tourists. We were mostly in the old town, and the prices here are a bit high. Also remember to withdraw cash! They often do not want to accept card due to tax-reasons. So they will tell you that they do not take card or that the machine is broken. So if you do not have cash then remember to ask if they accept card before ordering anything. We also experienced that the locals were hustling you much more in Zadar compared to Split (e.g. Lied, took higher prices, taxi collaborated to bring prices up). Note: do NOT use taxi! Downloade the app Bolt to get around. It is much cheaper and totally safe. The taxi wanted 500 HRK to get from Zadar airport to Zadar bus station. Through Bolt we got there for 87 HRK. If you want to book a boat trip, then we found out that it was cheaper to get the ticket from the stands on the other side of the Old town (the one opposite from the long bridge).
The old town was unexpected with so much architectiure and lovely winding streets - reminded me of Italy. Eating out every night wasnt expensive and the city has a great vibe - especially down the water front with the light show watching the sun go down. With boat trip out the islands, this is a great central location to base any holiday.
Zadar is a lovely city with lots of beautiful beaches and history in the old city. It is full of life and activity. The restaurants were good and due to the picking up of tourism, always full. The old city was also very lively due to the presence of University students nearby. The harbour with lots of excursion boats and maritime activities was also very busy. Zadar is easy to get around in particularly the old city where I spent most of my time. I was also able to visit several nearly islands with their lovely swimming areas and beaches and natural beauties.
Zadar is a fabulous walled city full of history. There are plenty of excellent restaurant's serving very good food. The Sea Organ is wonderful especially when the sun sets which is stunning. There are various boat trips which take you round the islands and are good value for money. There are few beaches which tend to be pebbly rather than sand but the sea is clear blue. I would highly recommend Zadar.
This is a gem of a hotel - a must stay when in Zadar! The art and aesthetic of the hotel were incredible. The breakfast area - both inside and outside - was charming and felt out of a postcard. Breakfast was delicious and very high quality. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Elena in particular was a treat. Her dry humor made us feel right at home. Her suggestions for food and activities were on point. She made us feel very welcome in Croatia. We will certainly recommend to our friends and come back again!
The apartment was very nice and new. It had everything we needed packed in a relatively small place. All facilities were very new, the bed was comfortable and the balcony was really nice with great views. There are small bakeries in walking distance and the old town is right across the bridge! Parking was also really nice and offered for free! Check-in was easy and wel communicated and Luka greeted us warmly. We would definitely recommend this place in Zadar!
Zadar
Everything is perfect. Location is in old town, easy to walk anywhere, but very quiet. The apartment is modern, cosy and super clean. We are also surprised by all these thoughtful details on decoration, amenities and little treats. The host is also very nice, helpful on recommendation, and even picked us from the bus stop. This is the best accommodation in our trip in Croatia and definitely one of my best experience on apartment.
Everything! Some of the reviews mentioned it looking dated from the outside but don't let this bother you! The hotel inside is very modern and clean! Our room was the same, everything you'd need including a large TV, great bathroom and large sea facing balcony! We had breakfast included with our stay which was excellent, huge variety! The pool area is a blessing on hotter days as not many places in Zadar offer this!
Zadar
The location of the apartment is perfect. The studio itself is simple, but comfortable and has all the basic things you need for a vacation, and even a bit more (like a washing machine and a TV). The owner was kind and very easy to contact. All in all, I think it's a gem and I'd recommend it to anyone (who doesn't need a 5 star hotel experience to enjoy their vacation).
Zadar
The breakfast was amazing, definitely happy that the meal was included in our price. The staff was extremely helpful in providing tips on local restaurants, pubs and excursions. On our last full day in Zadar, the hotel helped us book an all day cruise, complete with lunch, a bar, music and taxi service (roundtrip) for a very good price. Highly recommend the cruise!!
Zadar
-The apartment is located in the residental building with elevator which is quite a surprise considering it's in old town Zadar. -Also another plus is the taxi can go right in front of the residential building -Our studio has a view to the sea, very nice and it's quite spacious with decent cooking accessories. -Big flat screen TV with good Internet.
Room was small but comfy. Big clean bathroom and puffy towels. Number of city parking zones are nearby the hotel. The hotel is close to the lovely Zadar’s city center and promenade. The breakfast was tasty and full. The city center and s distanced from the beaches but it was a pleasant walk thru lovely old streets. We enjoyed staying in this place.
Cleaninless is 10/10, the bed smelled like a 5 star hotel bed. All appartment is like new. Equipment is 10/10 too, we had everything we need and more. The host was very responsive to our questions. Location is perfect, there is a free parking next to it. Smart tv with Netflix, prime tv...
Staff of the hotel, Restaurant inside the hotel and the chef himself Located in the heart of old town of Zadar, but very quiet, relaxing place without tons of tourists. Special thanks to the manager on duty - Mr.Mario for his kind and professional assistance in accommodating us.
