Within the UNESCO-protected Venetian walls in the heart of ancient Zadar, Art Hotel Kalelarga is located on the main promenade called Kalelarga. The staff was exceptionally helpful, accommodating and very friendly. The manager at the front desk almost anticipated our questions and needs. The room was large, clean and quiet. The included breakfast was made to order, plentiful and delicious. W also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and had a wonderful meal for a very reasonable cost. This was truly one of the best hotel we have visited.
Hotel Mediteran is a 10-minute walk from the beach and 2.5 miles from the historic center of Zadar. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the sea or the grounds. This is one of the best hotels in Zadar and I always try to book a room here. Unfortunately too many people have also fell in love with this place. The new rooms are delicate, light and just fantastic. Scandinavian design, I feel like being home. The restaurant is superb, beautiful pool and the staff can not do enough for you. If you come by car they have a this big parking lot, what could be better.
Located in a peaceful area of Zadar, Hotel Kolovare offers air-conditioned rooms with a balcony. This hotel is a short walk from the city center and sits along a beautiful walkway along the water. I wish we had been able to stay longer and see more of the area. I would definitely stay here again if I came back.
Hotel Marinko is 2.5 mi from the historic center of Zadar. The attractive villa-style Hotel Marinko in the tourist complex Borik benefits from a perfect location only 656 feet from the picturesque... Peaceful surrounding for a very romantic holiday. Very good breakfast in a quiet garden, eggs or omlet are made when you sit and according to your wishes. Very nice beaches and bars around the hotel. Staff extra friendly.
Located on Punta Skala peninsula in Petrčane, Falkensteiner Family Hotel Diadora features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a children's water world with an indoor pool. Family paradise. Ideal for families with kids of all ages. Great food and various pools and other facilities.
The Mediterranean-style Hotel Delfin, in the attractive Diklo area of Zadar, offers rooms with attached bathroom and a covered outdoor restaurant terrace, just 33 feet from the sea. When we first walked into the room and saw our private balcony it was a wow moment. Absolutely breathtaking view! This hotel is right on the water. The room was remodeled and the bathroom was wonderful, clean. Decore was very restful. The location is a little out of Zadar, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Public beach where you could walk for awhile. A bonus is there was a wonderful restaurant right in the hotel. I would stay here again.

Περάσαμε μια υπέροχη βραδιά σε αυτό το διαμέρισμα! Είχε ότι χρειαζόμασταν και ήταν στο κέντρο της παλιάς πόλης. Σας το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!
Zadar is a beautiful old city. Lots to see and do - like watching the sunset as you sit and listen to the sea organ, as the Greeting to the Sun starts to light up. Lots of little shops with unique items.
Zadar was for me the perfect place to stay while traveling around Croatia, we went to the most famous national parks with a car and the longest ride was 2h. Apart from that the city is really nice and you can find nice sommer activities .
Parking in Zadar is crazy - -and crazy expensive. I parked in Zone 1 and it cost 6 kuna per hour. But the good thing is they do not charge between 10 pm and 9 am and you're allowed to pay in advance for as long as you'll be there. For example, I arrived Friday afternoon and the parking machine was smart enough to skip the hours between 10 pm and 9 am, and added my time to the following day. You can pay by credit card or bills. There's a very interesting history in all of the Roman architecture.
small/compact, but nice and diverse city center provides an opportunity for relax to different tast - read a book on the city walls or one of the small real nice parks, enjoy the coffee and meal at perhaps not so many (compared to other destinations) but still interesting historical spots and buildings. Or enjoy the sunset on the amazing, calm and renovated pier. Good place to stop by for some short rest during the trip around the country. and enjoyable city beaches are within easy reach from old town. However renovations works that were not displayed on google maps and following navigations through tiny streets of the neihborhoods with all the other redirected traffic is perhaps a place for improvement
The draw for me to Zadar was the magical, mystical like atmosphere of this city off the Adriatic Sea! Once I saw pictures of the Greetings to the Sun and heard the Sea organ, I knew I had to visit! Zadar is a gem! Walking the old town at night feels like a different experience during the day. Both intoxicating. Glowing white at night walking through 3000 years of history....to aqua colored waters and Roman history where the straight roads and forum were built. Zadar has had traumatic history, but despite it's frequent reconstruction, it remains a beautiful city brimming with more than 3000 years of history and culture! Be sure to climb the tower of the Church of St Donat for the breathtaking views of this beautiful and enchanting city!!!

Very friendly owner who gave a great recommendation for a restaurant too. Best and cheapest accommodation we stayed in on our holiday (trip to slovenia and then drive to DUBROVNIK via Pula, Zadar and split other accommodation was good but much more expensive and either smaller or less fancy) free bottle of wine and local liquor included too. Extremely reasonably priced apartment and great location just a few minutes walk from the old town. Bruschetta restaurant was recommended and was amazing and reasonably priced again too.

The tenants are a lovely couple so keen to make your stay as friendly as for their own relatives, the location is just fab, 2 minutes from the sea shore, namely the famous organs. All was clean. We were welcome with some snacks, fresh fruits , everything needed for breakfast and advice on best spots. Little English, little French, little Italian and a service-oriented Croatian heart made it a lovely experience. Blanka & Dani highly contributed to our great memories of Zadar.

The location was amazing. You can walk amongst the most beautiful sites in Old Town easily and are minutes away from any type of restaurant or market. You can swim in the sea right next to the apartment and hear the sea organ lull you to sleep! Sasha the host was great and helped us when we arrived late and checked out late. If we can make it back to Zadar I will be sad if this apartment is not available. I can’t imagine a better place to stay for a family of 3 or less!

We stayed in room 4 on the top floor. It was a lovely room with a roof terrace which had good views of Zadar. Having windows on two sides meant fresh air could circulate. The hotel is well situated being very close to the centre of the old town. Parking nearby is expensive, the charging period is 0800 to 2200 and has to be topped up every three hours. But if you drive almost to the end of the quay parking is free! Parking is also free on Sundays.

The Old Town is at 15 min walk. You even have a shopping mall 5 min from the apartment. Everything is sparkly clean and you can park in front of the house behind a gate. The patio is spacious and shaded. Our hosts were welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed for a pleasant stay in Zadar. Thank you! Definitely worth coming back to. P.S. I almost forgot about the 2 bathrooms!

Dino and Slaven were so helpful and kind. They helped us navigate around, book restaurants for us and checked if we needed help or anything else. The property was beautiful! Better than hotel service!!! Everything was clean and new, better than some 5 star hotels! Dino even had toiletries and some snacks for guests. Will recommend to everyone!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Nodi. The facilities, particularly the pool and hot tub area were excellent especially for a group of six friends. The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean and well kept. About a 10 min drive from Zadar old town but a lovely break in the middle of our trip of Croatia. Karla was a lovely host, very accommodating.

Very close to old town. Quiet (except when Croatia won the penalty shootout!!). Angelina was very helpful. Washing machine and drier. Ground floor which was great when dragging along two young kids and associated luggage! The external blinds meant we could sleep in (or the kids could). The little supermarket on the waterfront had the beat bread!

This guest house is just steps from the sea organ and all the sites in old town. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Leina was very friendly and helped us find a fantastic restaurant and went over the map of all there is to see in Zadar. We found free parking easily. The room suited us for an overnight stay.

It’s a well organized accommodation in Zadar. Very closed to the old town and Sea Organ, all by walking, but also located in a quiet residential area. The owner is very kind to offer a lot of useful information for touring around the city. Highly recommend.

Good pool and nice staff. Wouldn’t return to the area as a bit out of Zadar. Although it is cheap enough to get an Uber into the old town
