Within the UNESCO-protected Venetian walls in the heart of ancient Zadar, Art Hotel Kalelarga is located on the main promenade called Kalelarga. The staff was exceptionally helpful, accommodating and very friendly. The manager at the front desk almost anticipated our questions and needs. The room was large, clean and quiet. The included breakfast was made to order, plentiful and delicious. W also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and had a wonderful meal for a very reasonable cost. This was truly one of the best hotel we have visited.

Located only steps from a pebbly beach in Puntamika, Hotel Niko is a mere 10-minute drive from Zadar's center. Everything was absolutely amazing. The staff is very helpfull, the hotel is very veal and comfortable. The excelent breakfast is served in a comfortable room, with a view.

Hotel Mediteran is a 10-minute walk from the beach and 2.5 miles from the historic center of Zadar. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the sea or the grounds. This is one of the best hotels in Zadar and I always try to book a room here. Unfortunately too many people have also fell in love with this place. The new rooms are delicate, light and just fantastic. Scandinavian design, I feel like being home. The restaurant is superb, beautiful pool and the staff can not do enough for you. If you come by car they have a this big parking lot, what could be better.

Hotel Donat in Zadar enjoys a perfect location next to the crystal-clear sea and a marvelous beach, offering a wide diversity of sports, recreation and activity possibilities. - food was good - a lot of shadow - cleanliness - good location
Although not as well known as Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, Zadar's Old Town is definitely worth a visit while in traveling around Europe. Highly recommended along with the rest of Croatia!
Zadar is less busy than some other towns in Croatia and lovely - the apartment accommodations that we found were amazing and very affordable and we really enjoyed walking around and enjoying the local restaurants and culture.
We were only there for one night but another time would stay longer. The sea organ is very unique and everyone should experience it. It is an easy city to get around in as the old town is at the harbour and that is where you want to be to have a choice of restaurants.
An unexpected gem! The food was wonderful! Definitely follow TripAdvisor on that! The Roman ruins were an added plus. Great belltower alongside the Cathedral; the Franciscan sanctuary was lovely and very worthwhile. And the sea organ and Monument to the Sun is very impressive! Sunsets are spectacular here! Nice bakeries and a fantastic ice cream place: Donats, not far from the Cathedral. Also, a quick, easy drive to Plitvice which is a must!
Very nice room in 3 story apartment, Apartments Marija Anchor. Right across from harbor, good restaurants and easy access in to the Old town. Owners were excellent hosts. Loved the fresh grapes they picked for us.
We loved Zadar....one of our favourite places in Croatia. We intended to stay one night a the Hotel Delfin and ended up staying 2 days. People were amazing and friendly. The hotel staff were helpful and very knowledgable about what to see and do in the area. Food at the Hotel's restaurant was amazing - one of the reasons we extended our stay. Will definitely be back

Very friendly owner who gave a great recommendation for a restaurant too. Best and cheapest accommodation we stayed in on our holiday (trip to slovenia and then drive to DUBROVNIK via Pula, Zadar and split other accommodation was good but much more expensive and either smaller or less fancy) free bottle of wine and local liquor included too. Extremely reasonably priced apartment and great location just a few minutes walk from the old town. Bruschetta restaurant was recommended and was amazing and reasonably priced again too.

The tenants are a lovely couple so keen to make your stay as friendly as for their own relatives, the location is just fab, 2 minutes from the sea shore, namely the famous organs. All was clean. We were welcome with some snacks, fresh fruits , everything needed for breakfast and advice on best spots. Little English, little French, little Italian and a service-oriented Croatian heart made it a lovely experience. Blanka & Dani highly contributed to our great memories of Zadar.

The location was amazing. You can walk amongst the most beautiful sites in Old Town easily and are minutes away from any type of restaurant or market. You can swim in the sea right next to the apartment and hear the sea organ lull you to sleep! Sasha the host was great and helped us when we arrived late and checked out late. If we can make it back to Zadar I will be sad if this apartment is not available. I can’t imagine a better place to stay for a family of 3 or less!

When we first walked into the room and saw our private balcony it was a wow moment. Absolutely breathtaking view! This hotel is right on the water. The room was remodeled and the bathroom was wonderful, clean. Decore was very restful. The location is a little out of Zadar, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Public beach where you could walk for awhile. A bonus is there was a wonderful restaurant right in the hotel. I would stay here again.

We stayed in room 4 on the top floor. It was a lovely room with a roof terrace which had good views of Zadar. Having windows on two sides meant fresh air could circulate. The hotel is well situated being very close to the centre of the old town. Parking nearby is expensive, the charging period is 0800 to 2200 and has to be topped up every three hours. But if you drive almost to the end of the quay parking is free! Parking is also free on Sundays.

The Old Town is at 15 min walk. You even have a shopping mall 5 min from the apartment. Everything is sparkly clean and you can park in front of the house behind a gate. The patio is spacious and shaded. Our hosts were welcoming and provided us with all the information we needed for a pleasant stay in Zadar. Thank you! Definitely worth coming back to. P.S. I almost forgot about the 2 bathrooms!

Dino and Slaven were so helpful and kind. They helped us navigate around, book restaurants for us and checked if we needed help or anything else. The property was beautiful! Better than hotel service!!! Everything was clean and new, better than some 5 star hotels! Dino even had toiletries and some snacks for guests. Will recommend to everyone!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Nodi. The facilities, particularly the pool and hot tub area were excellent especially for a group of six friends. The apartment was spacious, modern, very clean and well kept. About a 10 min drive from Zadar old town but a lovely break in the middle of our trip of Croatia. Karla was a lovely host, very accommodating.

Very close to old town. Quiet (except when Croatia won the penalty shootout!!). Angelina was very helpful. Washing machine and drier. Ground floor which was great when dragging along two young kids and associated luggage! The external blinds meant we could sleep in (or the kids could). The little supermarket on the waterfront had the beat bread!

This guest house is just steps from the sea organ and all the sites in old town. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Leina was very friendly and helped us find a fantastic restaurant and went over the map of all there is to see in Zadar. We found free parking easily. The room suited us for an overnight stay.

All inclusive was pretty good. So the food is a little repetitive but could find and have a decent meal throughout the day. For sure I would return. The hotel could be a lot more but then you would be paying more. Very comfortable beds. Close to city of Zadar. Beautiful coast ride from hotel to ancient walls of the city.

It’s a well organized accommodation in Zadar. Very closed to the old town and Sea Organ, all by walking, but also located in a quiet residential area. The owner is very kind to offer a lot of useful information for touring around the city. Highly recommend.

Good value for money, attentive check in staff. Arguably the best value for money in Zadar for a couple, would recommend the private double room, nice for out for a hotel/hostel

Good pool and nice staff. Wouldn’t return to the area as a bit out of Zadar. Although it is cheap enough to get an Uber into the old town
