The Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Iadera is located on the private Peninsula Punta Skala, 7.5 mi drive from Zadar, offering amazing vacations in a relaxing, intimate and stylish atmosphere on the peak of... The hotel itself is beautiful, loved all the colours - very Miami style! Our room was AMAZING - however, if you are not travelling with your partner, you must check if your room has bathroom behind closed doors ;) Our shower and bath were both inside the room, right next to the bed, which was VERY pretty and unusual, and WE LOVED it considering we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary (it certainly added to the romantic vibe - perfect for couples!), but needs to be checked as I am sure not everyone would be so happy about that arrangement :D Balcony was HUGE, but as there are no tea/coffee making facilities, a little bit pointless to us. We had our coffee at breakfast. Staff in the hotel were all very helpful, special thanks to Josipa in Sports Center building - she made our stay extra enjoyable with her level of customer service. Breakfast was excellent value as there was something for everyone's taste available, quite a few choices for kids too. Spa and Pool areas were FANTASTIC! Indoor pool also goes outside (half / half), there are choices of sweet pool water and salt pool water :) There are lots of changing areas, showers, few saunas, few speciality rooms (salt bath room for instance), a pool in the sauna area where you can swim nude, relax lounge etc. strangely no hot tubs though! Loved that you can drink / eat in your robes inside the spa area - for maximum relaxation - no need to get dried or dressed. Food prices are pretty high. Sports Centre is amaying, tennis courts, mini golf etc. right outside. As it was raining, we didn't walk along the beach at all, but saw it from our balcony and it looked great! Small pebbles, nice entrance to the sea, plenty of space... At the check out, we got offered bottles of water for the trip back :) Overall very relaxing weekend and we are definitelly coming back!

Walk and enjoy historic pieces, roman Forum and streets, church from 9th century, medieval town configuration oriented to the maritime trade. Charming adaptation of old houses into cafe' & restaurants & bookstores. Very relaxing environment, with sea breeze. Feel good town!
If you want to walk, it's an ideal place to walk (if the weather conditions are ok)... If you don't want to or can't walk then you have to take either tahi or public transport. (For my conditions and standrad is too expensive). The old town of Zadar and the surrounding places (beaches, islands, cultural historical monuments, etc.) are ideal for visiting when you are already in this city. As for food, here (In Zadar) food is varied and beautiful but unfortunately I will say about my (our) conditions and standard is TOO EXPENSIVE. What I don't like when I come to Zadar is the distance from my country (where I live) and the road is too long and it all makes me very tired... If I have to sum it up then I will say : ZADAR IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL CITY
Zadar is a wonderful town, which offers the atmosphere of the good old days. Full of friendly people, and wonderful centuries-old architecture. I recommend it for lovers of art, archaeology and history, I especially recommend it for writers who will surely find inspiration in these narrow marble streets. Zadar is a hit in the winter. I will definitely look here inspiration again .
When you arrive at Zadar Airport, take the bus to town. It's only EUR 5,-- and the bus driver accepts Euros. Best have your fivers ready because he/she might not have enough change. Within 20 minutes you're in the old town. The streets look wet, but they are somewhat polished by everybody who walks around. Stone houses and bridges left and right. The sea is right there and the most amazing sight is the sea organ. Go there in the evening and listen to the sea making music. There is also solar floor art right there. If you have an extra full day, grab the ferry to Ugljan. It's not even a 30-minute ride away and costs ~EUR 2,50 if you get the ticket at the official ticket office. You can also hop on the bus and go to Nin within 20 minutes. It's an old village with salt production and a museum. Overall, Zadar is a very clean and cute little town surrounded by wonderful nature.
A beautiful and interesting city, with many monuments and important places. The most beautiful sunsets and the sound of the sea organ. Friendly people, great food and drink. There is always something to discover and why to come back.
The old town is steeped in history, with lots of great places to eat, have coffee and ice cream - the markets were good. It was difficult to get around Zadar City if you don't have a car - could do with some guides in English and where to get transport to places - Boat cruises are plentiful - we went on a couple and they were worth doing. You really need a good 7 days to explore all of Zadar and the beaches.
This family owned hotel and restaurant exceeded all our expectations. We stayed over a week in Zadar. Had wonderful food. And yet chose to eat at the Niko restaurant on multipole evenings because the food AND the service was so exceptional. The breakfast is unbelievable. A choice of made-to-order omelets or pancakes...but a buffet that was more than enough even without the warm items. One day we asked if we could be served breakfast early because we had an early event. Offered to pay extra. They wouldn't hear of charging us extra!!!
Great location just a very short walk across the harbour bridge into the Old Town. Actually preferred this to staying in the Old Town itself. Flat was exactly as pictured, very clean with everything we could have needed. Air-con and wifi were great, bed was very comfortable. The was very friendly and easy to communicate with, and the check-in process was easy. They offered to organise an airport shuttle although we opted for the slightly cheaper bus in the end. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Zadar.

Zadar
A very nice location, close to the sea, a nice walk to the Old Town. A beautiful garden with a small private playground that our kids loved and a swimming pool. The host was very friendly and helpful - we could enter 3 hours before regular time (thanks!). The apartment is very convenient, clean and well equipped with everything you may need. We will surely come back. Nice small shops are very close (250 m). And - last but not least - Zadar is amazing, even if some places are not cheap anymore.
Great Hotel, fast check in, friendly and helpful staff throughout, Our room was clean spacious with full facilities plus a balcony that overlooked the gardens and the sea. There is a good variety for breakfast. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to Zadar old town and 2 minutes from the beach. The hotel has an excellent pool bar and lobby bar. The pool itself is good and there is a separate children's paddling pool. The Kolovare is a business and holiday hotel, professionally run.

Apartment super located by the beach in a quiet neighborhood, only 4 km from the old town of Zadar, 300 m to the supermarket and ATM, close to the bus stop. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, big bathroom, terrace with garden furniture, sunbeds at guests' disposal. The owner Brankica super nice and helpful, always smiling. Offers transfer to/from airport (extra charge), latte coffee and croissant on the beach :)) Beautiful sunset! I will definitely come back.
We booked the top floor apartment, the terrace was AMAZING! The views showed the harbour to one side and the way to the sea the other. Perfect for sitting with a beer at night. The hotel is perfectly located in central Old Town, near restaurants and the pier, but keeps quiet at night. The hotel it's self was clean, light and airy, with great Aircon. The hotel manager was really friendly and helpful. If we get to go to Zadar again, we would 100% book this apartment!

The location was perfect being right in the centre of the old town and made our trip to Zadar extremely smooth and easy. Keys were left for us with clear instructions and we found the whole stay really pleasant on a whole. The room was spacious and clean, and Ivan was contactable throughout our stay and helped with our queries - would highly recommend!
The location was perfect, directly in the mainstreet and just a 1 minute walk to the sea where you are able to swim. The room was very clean, when we asked for new towels they gave it to us even though it is not a hotel. the owner replied very fast to our messages and he gave us very good tips and things to do in Zadar.
Beautiful apartment with contemporary fittings and facilities. There was a nice balcony to look out across Zadar. The host was helpful. The property is located within easy walking distance of the old town. One of the nicest properties we stayed in in Croatia. Also we had parking as requested.
Amazing host, very clean, best value for money in the entire Croatia!!!!. IF YOU PLAN TO VISIT ZADAR, PLEASE BOOK THIS VILLA AND YOU WILL HAVE AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE FOR SUCH FEW MONEY. The owner is very nice!!!!!
It was very nice to have our own little studio within an apparthotel. The receptionists were very helpful and kind. Close to the beach and easy access to the old town of Zadar, the location was perfect for us :)
