A truly authentic Balinese homestay experience. Ketut, his family, and Putu are incredibly kind and attentive — they make you feel part of the village. I even extended my stay because I felt so connected here. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the rooms spacious and clean (with a mini fridge), and the Wi-Fi worked well for my admin tasks. When my shower broke it was fixed immediately. Laundry is also available, which was very convenient. Highlights of my stay included joining a local ceremony, visiting the school to share English with the children, a fun day trip to Gembleng Waterfall, Lahangan Sweet, and Tirta Gangga Water Palace, and even celebrating Ketut’s birthday with the family — unforgettable moments that brought everyone together. The location is inland, more jungle so expect to hear the animals and birds.. there is a warung and small shop right next door, and a supermarket and vegetable store within walking distance (although thank you Putu for the moped ride!). This is not a tourist destination. Transport in the village is limited, but Ketut does everything possible to arrange what you need and help you get around. Ketut Carman loves sharing his culture and experiences. The value for money here far exceeded my expectations for the experience I received. The only small note: the property can be a little tricky to find, so I recommend checking in during daylight hours. I left with a profound connection to this village and way of life

Pani and his wife, and Made and the rest of their team took really good care of us from the day we arrived till our very last day. We rented scooters and explored almost all of Bangli. There are so many nearby waterfalls in the area. Breakfast in the villa was delicious- It was 3 of us, and we each went with the Indonesian, Continental, and American breakfasts every single day and never got tired of it. The pool was a good size, and the view of the ricefields was just breathtaking. I celebrated my birthday and the team all came together to our villa and sang happy birthday and later did a beautiful surprise celebration for me. 10 out of 10 for everything. We were sad when the day came for us to leave. We 100% recommend staying here.
