The guesthouse is amazing, completely immersed in nature and just a short walk from Koanara Village. The owner, Sipriano, is a truly kind and helpful person. He knows everything about the area and gives great advice on how to visit Kelimutu and the surroundings. The breakfast is also excellent, with lots of delicious fresh fruit and a tasty banana pancake. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Mahoni Guest House!! Haja and her family were extremely welcoming and very helpful! Helping us to organise transport, travel and activities giving us information about the area that we otherwise would not have known. The kindest and most welcoming hosts, set in the beautiful location of Moni. Hans, Emelda & family really made us feel like we were at home - from inviting us to their Son’s celebration one evening, tending to our injuries after we took a fall, arranging buses for us, and organising for their Nephew Anton to show us around his village.
