Peter, the host, is very friendly and warm. We had a nice, large room with a double bed and a private bathroom. The breakfast was very generous and filling. The view from the room over the village is simply beautiful!

The host cooks awesome local food for dinner with fresh ingrediants and made with heart for a reasanable price. vegetarian options also available. Includrd breakfast is also very tasty with a lot of fresh fruit always included. You can rent a scooter jus 5min by foot away. Also the waterfall is very close by (5 to 7min by foot). The host organizes everything for you if you ask, like transportations and gives good and honest advice for tours around Moni. You're surrounded by a beautiful garden and an amazing view of the valley directly from your door and from the chill and eating area, so that you prefere just being in the homestay than going somewhere else. Best place to relax.

The guesthouse is a perfect base for a trip to Kelimutu. We stayed there for 3 days and the host helped us to arrange all the tours and airport transport. The rooms were clean and neat and everyone at the guesthouse was very kind and warm-hearted. We had a wonderfoul stay!

Lopez was a gem!!! Really loved hearing all his tales of an Indonesian life well lived and exploring the river and waterfalls with him. This is a wonderful down to earth homestay where you can share dinner with the host and other guests, hear the pigs squeeling for their supper and watch the gardens being tended. We also rented motorbikes thru the homestay.

- The owner was really helpful before we arrived in Flores and arranged for a private transfer from Bajawa to Moni and to Ende the next day. They also arranged for a walking tour of Kelimutu NP and surrounding villages. I’d recommend booking the walking tour as we got a local guide (Francisco) who went us to the volcano, talked to us about the history and kept us patient to wait until the clouds cleared to see the lakes. Lots of people had left the summit as they were frustrated with the clouds but the local guide assured us that it would clear (and it did!) - New property and really modern interior. Unique experience for the area. The bathroom in particularl is really well designed. - Tasty breakfast and looked after us once we came back from Kelimutu which was late morning which was really appreciated.
