This homestay was probably the highlight of our time in Indonesia. The staff was amazing we will never forget Rip and Wahyu have now become dear friends and Andy the guide that we never had the chance to go on a hike with were the best. Adi the manager was absolutely amazing. He transferred to their brand new bungalows with outdoor showers which are so beautiful. We highly recommend this homestay

The location with views that it offers and arrangement of ambience (especially when it comes to the garden) is exquisite. A hidden mountain gem for those looking for a peaceful place to rest for a while. The best thing is when you wake up and open the door, to be greeted by greenery. Breakfast is truly tasty (we got a selection of fruit, scrambled egg and omelette, banana pancakes, toasts with butter, tea, coffee or water). Bungalows are arranged well and very clean, there is also hot water in the shower. The staff is very friendly and helpful - as the example, I left my purse in the restaurant and they caught the taxi with a motorbike to give it back to me. It is such a pity, that we only stayed for one night... :)

Staying here felt like coming home after wandering for a long time and not knowing where I truly belonged. I stayed here for a little less than a week and I wish I could have stayed longer... The location is excellent, providing easy access to the Waterfalls and Mount Rinjani. Also the rooms were just newly renovated and are big nice and clean. However, what truly makes this place special are the wonderful people who work here. The owner and her staff went above and beyond to show and guide me to so many beautiful hidden spots that I would never have discovered as a typical traveller. They even went as far and go Camping with me, just because i wanted to take some night time pictures!!! All of the staff have become dear friends to me, and I genuinely can’t wait to come back and see everyone again! If you're looking for a place to stay in senaru, this is it! You won’t regret it!

I stayed here with my family and this hotel is amazing! It has a wide garden with tropical plants and the ambience is so relaxing. The family who runs the hotel is really kind and welcoming 🙏🏼 if I had to come back to Lombok I would definitely go there

Staying at Rudy Trekker Guest House was the perfect start to my Rinjani adventure. From the moment I arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and well cared for. The check-in was smooth, and they immediately helped me prepare for my trek with clear explanations, tips, and a genuine concern for my safety and comfort. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet — exactly what you need before taking on a challenging hike. The hot shower and air conditioning were a blessing, and the bed gave me a truly restful night’s sleep. Their restaurant serves delicious local food, and the pool with jungle views is a wonderful bonus to relax before or after trekking. What impressed me most, however, was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the team. They made sure I had everything I needed, patiently answered all my questions, and checked that I felt confident and safe before starting the climb. I never felt like just another guest; I felt genuinely looked after. If you’re planning to trek Rinjani, I can’t recommend Rudy Trekker enough. Their warmth, professionalism, and care for both guests and the mountain make them stand out in every way.
