Overall a great place with an industrial interior, exceeding my expectations for Wonosari, I'd give it a 10 if not the scam they tried to do. On arrival we were taken to a lower standard twin room, when I said I booked a different type of the room (double), they asked me how much I paid and said the room on the picture is more expensive as they work with reddoorz, blablabla. Not the client's problem that they cannot set the price and promotions on the booking platforms accordingly. In the end after the call with manager/owner? we were given the room according to the booking and all was good, but that left a bad first impression.

We visited a lot of countries and stayed in a lot of hotels but we had never been in such a historical and uniq hotel-museum like this one. All the rooms are very big, comfortable and equipped with historic furniture. I suggest that you call the manager Ershad who explain you the history, who was the owner, which famous persons were quests and show you all the complex of this hotel. Rooms are really comfortable and clean. Friendly stuff even offered us a connected rooms cause we were family of four, wich was really convenient. Rooftop has a nice bar and a pool with great view. Location was (for us) very convenient because we don't like the noisy center and it was close to Prambanan temple. The food was also very good, compliments. All the stuff was really nice. Recommended.
