We were the first ever guests to Fam Wall Homestay and we are grateful and happy we trusted our guts and stayed here. The family is lovely, pricing of the homestay is far below comparable offerings in the area, you'll get 4 meals a day, trips to Piaynemo, Rufas and the famous snorkel spots are also fairly priced and the house reef feels like a maze of wonders and life itself already. Please be aware of the tides, they bring plastic sometimes, and the family tries to clean the oceans. Support them!

Beautiful homestay at a unique spot (incredible sunsets) with a very caring family and two cute kids! Good and plenty food and clean. Amazing location for snorkeling directly in front. Watch sharks and squid hunting from the jetty or see the huge coconut crabs. The friendly owner is also a skilled boatsman and brought us safely through very rough seas. Communication works fine even with just a few words of english (by help of google translate and gestures). Good base for Pyainemo, Fam Wall and Rufas island (+Mellis Garden). Thanks for having us!!!

Everything was outstanding and make sure you do the mantas tour with Mr.lucky i was able to swim with 6 big ones all alone amazing and with 4 in another spot truly one memorable thing I've done. The trip to playnemo was another high light from Mr.lucky. The homestay is so comfortable and clean and peaceful. Food really good and plenty. Good reef out front. Great Wi-Fi from 6pm too 8am. So don't hesitate to book this homestay Mr.lucky will take great care of you.

The homestay owner, Arlan, and his wife, Grace, are so cheerful and welcoming! It was such a pleasure talking with them! They had a wonderful house on the water, with amazing views and sleeping to the sound of the waves! What could be better? They also gave me a wonderful manta ray trip! And with Arlan and his brother, we went boating in Pianemo. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you, Arlan, and thank you, Grace!

We had a marvellous stay with Nick at Meos Ambower. The bungalows over the water with the house reef right in front is extraordinary. Baby reefsharks visiting, swimming underneath, a beautiful sunrise and sunset right in front is a dream come true. The common room has excellent 360degree view over the beautiful reef. Plenty of food options and always fresh. The staff is super friendly, helpful and always ready to go on an adventure. We went swimming with the mantas, which is just a 10 minute boat ride from the homestay. Cristal clear emerald blue water and playful mantas. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely visit again! We stayed in Marlina homestay for 4 night at the end of March. Everything there was really nice and it was more than we expected. First they were waiting for us in Waisai harbor and transferred us to the homestay. This was very easy to organize with them. During our stay we went to 3 tours for snorkeling and sightseeing with them. Again everything was very well organized. There were always 2 people on the boat and one of them was constantly in the water with us and the other one was following us with the boat. They showed a lot of care for us. The trips also start early in the morning and having in mind we are close to everything there we were basically alone whenever we went, including Pyianemo. Rooms were nice as well, we had electricity the whole they during our stay, which we didn’t expect. There is also WiFi with Starlink, so the internet was good, which we also didn’t expect. The food there was also nice. My favorites were the breakfasts :). We had breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also afternoon snack. On the way back they transferred us directly to our next stay. Overall the owners are really nice people, who take care of their guests.

I really enjoyed my 5 days here. I was the only guest, so I had the whole beach (several kilometres long) to myself, which was fantastic. And at night all I could hear was the soothing sound of the ocean waves. The beach is just a few seconds away from the bungalow. Because it is by the sea, the waves are quite big and the breeze is a blessing in this otherwise quite hot place. And because the beach faces west, I saw the best sunsets in Raja Amapat. As for the accommodation, it is basic, but I had everything I needed. The food was delicious. The family helped me with everything. The father took me wherever I wanted to go and even gave me some tips, which turned out to be the best snorkelling I had in the area (Napoleon Reef and Fam Wall). He even climbed a palm tree to get me a fresh coconut. So I am really happy about everything and I recommend you to visit Or Mandira too.
