Kertasari Lodge has completely spoilt us. Incredible view, extreme peace, delicious (and reasonably priced) meals, happy staff and genuinely lovely owners in one of the most amazing places we've visited in Indo. Having never been to Sumbawa before, we we're really sure what to expect and had envisaged doing lots of exploring by bike. We generally like to get out and about exploring by snorkelling, maybe a boat trip, maybe hire some surfboards and do some very average beginner surfing, but the wet season put paid to all of that and instead we spent 6 days doing pretty much nothing. And it was heaven! We've visited Indo in Dec plenty of times and have always been really lucky to avoid most of the rain, but not this year. We copped the tail end of a typhoon which saw torrential rain for 36hrs in the middle of our stay. Luckily we had planned a work day that day anyway and were so grateful to have the desk in the room to work from, while we watched the rain pelt down. There was a power outage in town due to the rain which disrupted the internet, but all of this is totally to be expected as a possibility in the wet season. The beach across the road (salifi) was absolutely beautiful when we wanted a beach swim; the village of Kertasari full of smiley locals and is a great 20 min walk away with beautiful and interesting architecture and cheeky kids. We stayed in villa 1, which was fantastic with almost 180 degree views of the beautiful bays and out to Rinjani. We understand this place gets busy in high season, but if you are after a super relaxed place to stay in off season with some sort of magical vibes, this is your place. I'm sure it's the same in high season, but with a generous sprinkle of insta snap hunters on the terrace every sunset. Thank you so much for having us Kertasari, we hope we can return x

Beautiful location with nicely appointed rooms. Filtered tap water in the room was a surprise. Nice pool area to relax.

Our stay at Sollo sollo was an experience we will never forget! Ade is one of the most humble genuine people you will ever meet. Not only will he go out of his way to make sure you are comfortable during your stay but will pride himself in showing you around kertasari. Whether it’s eating fresh fruit at his family farm, taking a fishing boat to secret snorkelling spots or hiking through the bush to the local waterfalls. He will ensure every day is filled with a once in a lifetime adventure! If you want to immerse yourself in the truely authentic side of Sumbawa there is no better place than at Sollo Sollo. Andi and his family were very welcoming and made the effort to make me feel at home. Also, it was a truely authentic experience, Andi invited me to a local ceremony and showed me around his beautiful town.

The facility is new, clean ,comfortable and functional. The house iis only for tourist .The room was perfect. Location is great, isolated near the road with almost no traffic where I listen at night the soind of waves from nearby wild but beautiful beach.. The owner is professional and redy to hel. Wi fi is very good. As birdwatcher I was surprised how many rare birds I found around and heaed their calling.

Fantastic location right on the beach. The bed was so comfortable and the owner was very helpful. Lots of water provided during the stay. Nice Warung just along the road and local village about 2km away. We were only people staying so it was very serene.

We loved our rooms at Damai they were in a lovely garden with own little balcony, and great size bedroom and bathroom.
