Staff were very accommodating. The hotel was built with no budget, looks great. Will definitely stay again. Swimming pool was great, not too much chlorine. The children loved it. Breakfast was great, they gave us extra meals for the kids and were very accommodating when we had to customise the meals for the children. Five stars from me. And I don't give the away easy. Bed was huge and very comfortable.

A layover in Pandagabai at this place was pleasant. The host/owner is a very nice/knowledgeable guy and treated the travelers there to dinner. For German speakers this is the place you want to visit - the host is a rare Indonesian that speaks fluently.

Little paradise, hiden from main street. Everything was just perfect. We stayed only for a night, but we regreted it the first minute we got there, it is just heavenly beautiful and so peaceful. Highly recomend.

I loved it. The room is nice, very clean, the bed is comfortable, and it smelled really good. There are drink options in the fridge at a reasonable price. The host is very friendly and explained to me how to make the most of my stay's afternoon. I also adored Kitty, a cute little cat who kept me company for a while. I recommend it.

Don't just catch a ferry or fast boat from Padangbai stay and enjoy this diverse friendly east coast village. Exciting and busy during the day. Peaceful and relaxing at night. Everything is within easy walking distance in this unique place with various accommodation, food, entertainment and activity options at hand. Such as Scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, trekking, day trips, fast boats, warungs, restaurants, walking, people watching, relaxing and sun baking. Omang Omang is a great place for Monday night live music, Blue Lagoon for some snorkeling and the nearby Bias Tugel beach is a must do if you want to relax, sun bake, swim, enjoy great food and massages.

Blue Lagoon is lovely and great for snorkelling. It is an extremely short walk from the harbour. In the other direction is White Sands Beach, which is a lovely walk,, along tracks and down through woodland. Lots of monkeys by the temple area. A great morning market where you can buy lots of local food as well as fruit and veg etc. Best time to visit is between 6am and 7am. They are packing it away by 8am. Definitely worth spending a few days here.

Padang bai is a transit town for the ferries.

Padang bai is a transit town for the ferries. There are plenty of eateries around. The beach is unfortunately littered with rubbish and stray dogs roam around. It’s not somewhere to stay for long. There is a dive centre so it might be good for that, but for me as a general tourist I wouldn’t take a holiday here. I just stayed for the fast boats.

Padangbai took me back in time to the Bali of old.

Padangbai took me back in time to the Bali of old. Its quite rustic and primitive looking in parts. Most of the restaurants are quite old. We only ate at our hotel OK Divers Resort, where the restaurant and food was very good. NIce place to visit but only a couple of days at most.

Contrary to some reviews of Padangbai being a dodgy back...

Contrary to some reviews of Padangbai being a dodgy back water town, we found it to be a hidden gem. Lovely beaches and good places to swim and snorkel. Much smaller than I anticipated and far less humbug and mass tourism than other parts of Bali. Would definitely recommend staying here a couple of days, especially if catching an onward boat to other islands in Indonesia.

There is a photo of Padang Bai in the right upper corner of this page. I wonder where it was taken because Padang Bai does not look anything like that! Padang Bai is a bussy port and the beach is not suitable for swimming! This is not a place to spend holidays.

The location, we landed in Bali and were to take boat to Gili Trawang next morning, It was one of best decision as we were stones throw from ferry point. The rooms were good, I was surpirised to see 3 swimming pools in property, the restaurant was also very good ans staff was also very helping. We could also keep our extra luggage at reception and travel to Gili freely as latee we reakised would have been tough to drag bags on Gili roads to hotel. All in all very good stay if one has plans to go to Gili islands.

The hotel is really close to the Fast Boat port being only a couple of minutes walk and right on the front of the main road in Padangbai. It was the perfect pit stop before our ferry to Gili Air. The hotel is lovely which is restaurant and pool on-site which were all very clean and lovely food. The food itself was ideal, comfy and we slept great.

The location was perfect , near the Harbour and Ekajaya office, room was clean and spacious with a balcony. The owner and all the team were very kind and profesional. Breakfast was rich, The best breakfast that i had in balineese Hotels. Very good value for money.
