Nestled within tropical gardens, Kubuku Eco Dove Lodge and Yoga offers eco-friendly accommodations in Pemuteran. It has a spa, a restaurant and is located a 10-minute walk from Menjangan’s diving... We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to go the extra mile for you. You also get lots of little treats while staying, like afternoon tea and cake!
Sumberkima Hill Retreat offers accommodations in Pemuteran and close to the beautiful Menjangan Island. Lovina is 29 mi from the property. I have been in Bali for 3 times and visited many places but this place is definitely one of the best ones I have been. the resort is amazing and the area is also super beautiful with many mountains, jungles and beautiful snorkeling options. we will definitely come back one day! Their restaurant also has amazing food! highly recommend this place!
Tirta Sari Bungalow offers spacious and well-equipped rooms, a 30-minute drive from Menjangan’s famous diving spots. All rooms have a private patio and free Wi-Fi. The property has a nice feel of privacy and landscaping with traditional high ceilinged bungalows paired around the perimeter. The restaurant, pool, and spa on site is very convenient, and it’s only around 100 M to the beach for snorkeling. Staff is very helpful and gracious.
Located in Pemuteran, a 3-minute walk from Pemuteran Beach, APEL Homestay has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Simple but good breakfast. On the main road very accessible, nothing high luxury but clean with great staff. Would highly recommend in regards to bang for the buck.
Welcoming guests with a modern Balinese style guestrooms, Van Karning Homestay is located in Pemuteran. The rooms are equipped with air conditioner, terrace and seating area. The bungalow is nice, staff is friendly, the outdoor shower is fun. Few nice warungs around for dinner.
We went to Pemuteran to visit the West Bali National Park and arranged to have Idris as our guide per recommendations. It was a difficult day, partly because we didn't feel well, and partly because it was difficult to communicate with our guide. We spent the first 3 hours trekking for bird watching, which we chose because the activity level was easy. Idris is passionate about the birds and very good at recognizing from a distance. Three hours of this was more than enough for us. The Jungle Safari tour (again chosen for easy activity level) is brutally bumpy and uncomfortable without much of interest to see other than brief sightings of black monkeys in the distance. Idris seemed dedicated to finishing the program whether we wanted to or not (we did suggest turning around and ending the tour early, which he either didn't understand or didn't want to hear). In retrospect, upon awakening not feeling well we should have just paid Idris his very expensive fee for the day and stayed back at the resort to relax. All in all, the trip up to Pemuteran was very expensive and was the only disappointment in our trip to Bali. Thankfully, the Tirta Sari resort was beautiful and had an excellent spa!
Its a village along the mainroad, so sometimes the traffic is quite busy. There are small simple restaurants, minimarkets and some ATMs The beach is ok for snorkling, you will see quite a lot of fishes on the Bio rock There are also many diving and snorkeling trips to the island Menganjang in the national park. Lots of corals and fishes The beach is maybe not so nice to be honest, you will find it a bit dirty If you stay in Pemuteran - rent a scooter. They are around 60 k
This location is not for everyone, particularly those expecting the usual Bali scene. No big hotels, fashion shops, upmarket restaurants etc. Perfect for more eco minded tourists diving enthusiasts and those wanting a therapeutic and relaxing break at the end of a hectic Bali holiday. The four hour drive from South could be a disincentive.
Pemuteran is a great small town in the north of Bali, close to Lovina and Menjangan. I have visited this city several times now and it keeps surprising me. It is so beautiful and quiet, with not that many tourists, but offering several great places to go for dinner, lunch or just a drink. Snorkelling can be done here too, but I would definitely recommend to book a snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island too (which is around 500k per person, incl. lunch/boat/towel/water/snorkelling gear) - most beautiful place to go snorkelling on Bali for sure! Go for dinner at Taman Sari (right ón the beach) and stay at Kalyssa Beach Bungalows for the most amazing accomodation in Bali-style and affordable.
It’s a small fishing village, with friendly locals, and an authentic Bali experience away from the craziness of the southern beaches. Be sure to have a meal at Warung Setia, and take a snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island. Well worth it.
We went snorkelling in the National Park from Pemuteran, which was beautiful. We also went to the turtle sanctuary and released baby turtles into the ocean. We had some great food as Ode Resto, and also La Casa Kita. The town is based on the main road which isn’t ideal as there are no pavements. But you can walk along the beach between places to avoid the road.
I loved this homestay. Beautiful pool area, every room has pool view from their porch. Free cold filtered water, delicious breakfast served to your room. Such lovely welcoming hosts and beautiful family. Great location walking distance to everything. They provide a delicious afternoon tea of tea or coffee and home made banana fritters. I felt very comfortable here in their large rooms with huge bed. I hope to come again one day, pemuteran is beautiful.
We stayed in Amertha at the beginning of January. The Hotel was not fully booked and we had the garden and pool area which has to be shared normally between the guests of 4 Villas just for the two of us. This was very nice and relaxing. The Villas were very clean and there was always a lot of staff cleaning up the Villas and the Hotel area.
We enjoyed the hotel, in particular its garden and swimming pool, the people working there, who were particularly kind, and the breakfast, simple but very good and enough quantity. Besides, the location between the beach (200m) and the restaurants (300m in opposite direction) was perfect for enjoying snorkeling and local food.
MangoMoon was very relaxing and quiet. I felt completely at home and comfortable with the beautiful surroundings. Putu and Iluh cooked up delicious food for breakfast and dinner always with smiles!🤗 It is so easy to get around to beach and village, it’s just a few minutes walk away.
Beruk and his family have a beautiful homestay. Very clean, lovely deluxe rooms. It's close to many restaurants. Located 5 minutes from the beach. We had great relaxed time. Kid friendly too. Beruk also organized a trip to Menjangan island for us and also accompanied us.
The gardens and grounds are exquisite; the food wonderful, but most of all the staff is efficient, friendly, well-dressed and thoughtful. We enjoyed the snorkeling expedition from the hotel and really, really enjoyed the West Bali Tour the hotel arranged.
We spent 3 wonderful days in pemuteran ! This is a lovely place to stay, far from the road (so more quiet) and we felt very welcomed ! Good location, very clean and cosy :) our host was very nice and helpful ! Go for it :)
Honestly I liked all of Pemuteran a lot, and having a nice place to stay just added to it. The staff was really friendly end the breakfast was good. It's nice and quiet, but with a lot of things to do near by.
Nice and cozy place in Pemuteran, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and they helped us organize tours and transport to Ubud. Great value for money.
- location very close to the beach - pretty big room and nice little sitting area out front - breakfast was basic but good - free drinking water
Lovely quiet stay here in Pemuteran, staff all very friendly and helped us to book our onward travel for a good price and great driver
Great hotel. Includes a Diving center, so its easy to arrange diving. Very kind staff. Generally very clean and pretty.
The property is beautiful, the rooms are big enough and the beds are comfy. Within walking distance to the beach.
Great spot close to the beach, nice pool area and private terraces. Staff were very friendly.
Great location on the beach Room had a beautiful outside shower Excellent massages available
The view, quiet, friendly staff and owner, 5 minute walk to the beach.
Direct beach access
