Nestled within tropical gardens, Kubuku Eco Dove Lodge and Yoga offers eco-friendly accommodations in Pemuteran. It has a spa, a restaurant and is located a 10-minute walk from Menjangan’s diving... We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff are very friendly and happy to go the extra mile for you. You also get lots of little treats while staying, like afternoon tea and cake!
Sumberkima Hill Retreat offers accommodations in Pemuteran and close to the beautiful Menjangan Island. Lovina is 29 mi from the property. The breakfast options were plentiful. I recommend trying the different dishes and smoothies to start your day. We enjoyed the crepes and French toast. After we realized how close we were to Mt Ijen, I would have stayed a extra couple more days to visit it.
Tirta Sari Bungalow offers spacious and well-equipped rooms, a 30-minute drive from Menjangan’s famous diving spots. All rooms have a private patio and free Wi-Fi. Peaceful Garden Oasis with lovely pool just a short walk from the beach where a few beach side restaurants are open. Very reasonable rates to enjoy some seclusion and beach time. Wifi worked well and short walk to Mini Market on the main road. Staff friendly and helpful.
Located in the northwest coast of Bali overlooking the mountain and sea, Taman Sari Resort and Spa provides beachfront accommodations with an outdoor pool. Great location with an amazing sea view! Near to a professional Dive Shop. I'll come back for sure!
Suka Sari Cottages is located in the Pemuteran area, a 5-minute drive from Pulaki Temple, and a 30-minute drive from Gilimanuk Harbor. It offers free on-site parking. The customer service at this hotel is exceptional, All staff are very friendly and helpful and genuinely care about the wellbeing of guest. The rooms are very clean and the grounds and pool are beautifully kept. The breakfast selection is good and lunch and dinner includes tasty Balinese and Western food. A very short stroll across the road and past one restaurant takes you straight to beautiful and peaceful Pemuteran Beach,
Located a 7-minute walk from Pemuteran Beach, Tiara Homestay Pemuteran Bali has accommodations with a restaurant, a garden and a 24-hour front desk for your convenience. Free WiFi is offered. People were very friendly and we had a great stay. Kadek explaint everything to us, you can rent scooters or walk to the beach or the many restaurants around.
We went to Pemuteran to visit the West Bali National Park and arranged to have Idris as our guide per recommendations. It was a difficult day, partly because we didn't feel well, and partly because it was difficult to communicate with our guide. We spent the first 3 hours trekking for bird watching, which we chose because the activity level was easy. Idris is passionate about the birds and very good at recognizing from a distance. Three hours of this was more than enough for us. The Jungle Safari tour (again chosen for easy activity level) is brutally bumpy and uncomfortable without much of interest to see other than brief sightings of black monkeys in the distance. Idris seemed dedicated to finishing the program whether we wanted to or not (we did suggest turning around and ending the tour early, which he either didn't understand or didn't want to hear). In retrospect, upon awakening not feeling well we should have just paid Idris his very expensive fee for the day and stayed back at the resort to relax. All in all, the trip up to Pemuteran was very expensive and was the only disappointment in our trip to Bali. Thankfully, the Tirta Sari resort was beautiful and had an excellent spa!
Its a village along the mainroad, so sometimes the traffic is quite busy. There are small simple restaurants, minimarkets and some ATMs The beach is ok for snorkling, you will see quite a lot of fishes on the Bio rock There are also many diving and snorkeling trips to the island Menganjang in the national park. Lots of corals and fishes The beach is maybe not so nice to be honest, you will find it a bit dirty If you stay in Pemuteran - rent a scooter. They are around 60 k
This location is not for everyone, particularly those expecting the usual Bali scene. No big hotels, fashion shops, upmarket restaurants etc. Perfect for more eco minded tourists diving enthusiasts and those wanting a therapeutic and relaxing break at the end of a hectic Bali holiday. The four hour drive from South could be a disincentive.
Pemuteran is a great small town in the north of Bali, close to Lovina and Menjangan. I have visited this city several times now and it keeps surprising me. It is so beautiful and quiet, with not that many tourists, but offering several great places to go for dinner, lunch or just a drink. Snorkelling can be done here too, but I would definitely recommend to book a snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island too (which is around 500k per person, incl. lunch/boat/towel/water/snorkelling gear) - most beautiful place to go snorkelling on Bali for sure! Go for dinner at Taman Sari (right ón the beach) and stay at Kalyssa Beach Bungalows for the most amazing accomodation in Bali-style and affordable.
It’s a small fishing village, with friendly locals, and an authentic Bali experience away from the craziness of the southern beaches. Be sure to have a meal at Warung Setia, and take a snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island. Well worth it.
We went snorkelling in the National Park from Pemuteran, which was beautiful. We also went to the turtle sanctuary and released baby turtles into the ocean. We had some great food as Ode Resto, and also La Casa Kita. The town is based on the main road which isn’t ideal as there are no pavements. But you can walk along the beach between places to avoid the road.
We really enjoyed the food there, complimentary breakfast - you can choose from continental, american and balinese - as well as the restaurant menu for the dinner - the fish was delicious. Prices in the restaurant and the massages were also great. The room was very nice, with a porch, AC, table and wardrobe. The whole resort area was very nice, clean and tidy, including the pool. Staff was VERY nice and helpful, always there to answer any question and solve any problem ❤.
Everything else was fantastic - the staff, the breakfasts, the room and especially the snorkelling trip to Menjangan Island organised by the hotel - it was amazing, do not miss it! The snorkelling off Pemuteran beach is also excellent (equipment can be hired cheaply from hotel) but be careful not to touch the floating platforms in the sea as they are covered in fire coral, and it burns! The free drinking water and afternoon teas/coffees and cake were a nice touch.
The people! The staff and owner are so, so lovely and they made my stay in pemuteran really memorable, from cooking together and meeting the family, to the flowers on my bed every day, to noticing I don't like papaya for breakfast. They were always smiling, friendly and happy to help! I also really like the outdoor bathroom and the beds are great!
Tiaras homestay is a beautiful place with a pretty garden and the hosts are welcoming people, who told us, what we can do an where we can go at Pemuteran. Next to the homestay there are stairs leading you to a nice sunset and sunrise point on a hill. The banana pancake we got for breakfast was the best one we ate so far!
Friendly staff and owner. Even with the limited guests staying at the hotel this time all facilities were available and we enjoyed nice dinners in the restaurant. Also we had a very good diving trip with the dive-shop on site. The rooms are well designed especially the bench at the balcony and the bathroom.
Well run hotel. Rooms cleaned daily. I can't fault this place and would recommend you stay here if visiting Pemuteran. Lovely clean grounds and swimming pool. Good food and friendly helpful staff from management to kitchen and all other staff. Nice local people. Please stay here :-D
Peaceful Garden Oasis with lovely pool just a short walk from the beach where a few beach side restaurants are open. Very reasonable rates to enjoy some seclusion and beach time. Wifi worked well and short walk to Mini Market on the main road. Staff friendly and helpful.
It was perfect for our stay in Pemuteran for diving and the free shuttle into the town made everything so easy! Staff are all fabulous and the room we stayed in had the most amazing views, swinging day bed and access to the shared pool. So quiet and comfortable too!
A real natural experience stay, from the room, the spectacular view, bungalow in the rice field Walking around the hotel to explore the village is a new experience of native Bali life. The food, the service, the room, the landscape is amazing.
Good location, it is approx. 10 minutes walk to the beach and city center. Been upgraded to the room with Aircon. Staff was nice and helpful. Thanks for Desak and team to make our family holiday perfect.
The resort itself is very beautiful, the staff is nice and everything looks pretty, from the reception to the beach. Everything in public is well maintained of what we registered.
Perfect homestay! It's like a hotel, we really recommend this to everyone!
The atmosphere is very nice, quiet beach, nice breakfast menu.
Beach front property, wonderful staff
Everything! The villas are amazing, food is fantastic, staff couldn't be any better, they go out of their way to help you and look after you. The location is beautiful and for us it's perfect! The effort put into the Christmas celebrations was so touching too, so many hand made details and the live music was great. We will definitely be back 😁
Amazing room with a amazing bathroom. Would definitely come again. Very friendly staff, there always there for you.
