Teresa the host and her family were very welcoming. The place was easy to find, there was plenty of room in the car park, our room overlooking the lovely well kept garden was very clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was excellent. Listening to the birds in the morning was a delight as I looked over the wider lush green countryside. The shower was great - hot and fast. The breakfast was exceptional, a tremendous choice including fresh fruit and homemade items. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully cooked breakfast from the menu, the bacon was the best I have had in years! There was a lovely cosy sitting area for guests with all sorts of interesting books and local information. I hope to return. There was overall a very contented atmosphere of guests well cared for.

Brilliant, a lovely place to stay the chalet/mobile home was spacious and modern with every attention to detail looked after. The view from the inside and outside the home was spectacular. This is really a special place to visit we spent four nights and are booked in again we loved it so much. Hope to visit regularly. There is beach within a five minute walk and another famous Curragh beach a short drive away. The location is central between Dungarvan and Youghal less than half an hour away. Ardmore village is about 5 mins drive a lovely village. Cork is about an hour away (we visited Spike Island had a great trip). Thanks to Richard the host a great job !! (Sean and Ursula Kildare)

We only spent one day in Ardmore itself as there is so much...

We only spent one day in Ardmore itself as there is so much else to do close by..but Ardmore had a nice beach and playground and also has St Declans well which is nice to visit. We got food from the local shop and had a picnic on the beach so I can't comment on cafes/ restaurants. It had a little shop with a small selection of cheap toys which was just what the kids wanted so all good.

We had a one night stay…

We had a one night stay… There was a nice restaurant in the village that we will check out next time.. There were two ‘ tourist / craft’ shops with interesting items for sale.. There is a nice cliff walk… Ardmore is close to Waterford City & a lovely coastal drive.. Perfect for a short break… There was no entertainment in the hotel.. Nice local traditional pubs in the village.

We arrived two days after the fatalities at the Ironman in...

We arrived two days after the fatalities at the Ironman in the neighboring town, so the whole area was still in shock. Nevertheless, there are some very nice places to take day trips. It's best to reserve restaurants in advance. Cafes close very early. Ardmore itself is pretty and tiny!

The apartment was fabulous! Located right in the centre of Ardmore town it is the perfect place for family or a group of friends for a break at the sea! The apartment was sparkling clean with all the towels and sheets you could need! The kitchen was lovely and had everything we needed and more. Everything was so modern and new! All the staff that helped us with our booking and extra plans were outstanding! The lovely staff made the trip even better! The location is also fabulous for swimming as you are less than a minute walk from the beach!

Nice property in a good location for a base around south east Ireland. Spacious house with good outdoor space for the dog. Very useful covered passage for storing coats, boots etc. Very warm and cosy. Within walking distance to a lovely sandy beach and a short drive from Ardmore which was a nice seaside town with lots of interesting places to visit.The owner was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay.
