Located in Ballybunion, McMunns of Ballybunion has a terrace and bar. Free WiFi is offered. All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with a flat-screen TV. We cannot say enough good things about our stay at McMunns. The room was immaculate and brand new, and the rain shower was heaven after walking on the beach all day. Greg and Una were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We had a great meal in the restaurant downstairs and the included breakfast was a perfect start to our day. McMunn's is the true definition of hospitality!
Just a short drive from the beach, on the west coast of Ireland, Cashen Course House offers free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. The staff were wonderful! They make you feel at home. Personalize everything for you and your stay. Breakfast was AMAZING and the rooms are absolutely beautiful! The hotel is conveniently located by a gorgeous beach (walking distance). The town is also walking distance from the hotel. 10/10 for me. Highly recommend.
Overlooking the sea in Ballybunion, The Astor is a 5-minute walk from the famous Ballybunion Golf Course. Full Irish breakfasts are served, and the beach is less than a minute’s walk away. The owner, Mary, was very relaxed, nice and welcoming. We had queries about our family tree (in relation to the Astor) and she answered all of them and went above and beyond helping us!

Never stay here again. Small room . Older facility without update. Rude host and her husband. The promised scones in the afternoon, the fireplace and bar not operational. When ask about the scones and tea her reply was simply "we do not do it anymore". However breakfast good for 10.00 even though we have never encountered a separate fee for breakfast when we always stay at a bed and breakfast.
It is centrally located for the Ring of Dingle, Cliffs of Moher and the golf courses. We only had two days to linger in Dingle but we were not planning of golfing during this trip so our stay was about right in duration.
Wish we had stayed longer. The Cashen course at Ballybunion golf club was amazing. We walked it but it was 20,000 steps and up and down all the way and into a "wee breeze". Not easy to walk but well worth it. The downtown shops were fun.
Impressive to see the famous Ballybunion golf course even from the road. Playground and beaches are fun for children. Need to plan your meals if you want to sit down at a restaurant. Plenty of take-away options but very few restaurants.
I lovely little coastal town that features what is arguably the best golf course on this planet. I've played Pebble Beach and the course is here is much better, or so I think. I can't wait to go back.
Ballybunion is a lovely little town but on the weekend we were visiting it was the end of exams for Junior and Leaving cert and in the evening/night the town was packed with bus loads of students who were drunk and rowdy. As we had 2 young children with us we returned to our B&B early. The locals are all lovely friendly people.
David Walsh was the consummate host, with information about the area, the weather, travel times, and things to do. The accommodations were excellent, and the breakfast was very good. We would certainly stay at the Tides again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Ballybunion.
The property was quaint with a very home-like feel. We were given exceptional customer service and it was one of my favorite places we stayed in Ireland. Directly across from Ballybunion golf courses, you can't beat the location if you're looking to stay in Ballybunion.
If you are playing golf at Ballybunion, this is the place to stay. 100 yards from the Clubhouse so the location is the best. The rooms are really nice and the food was excellent. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Will definitely come back.
Brilliant location just next to the beach. Nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Everything you need after a long drive. Only suggestion is to include more direction info e.g. new name in Google map. It did take a bit effort finding the place after dark.
The location being near the sea and hearing the wind was very relaxing! The breakfast room was very nice with so many windows! We were offered coffee or tea when we arrived which was very nice after a day of driving! Breakfast was excellent!
Excellent location: right on the beach and only a few doors down from McMunn's, a fun restaurant. Lovely host. Provided great recommendations, and we really felt she sincerely aimed to make our trip as comfortable as possible
Very friendly staff, beautiful premises, great breakfast and on-site restaurant. Close to Ballybunion golf course (3 min drive). Easy on-site parking.
Right next to Ballybunion golf course. James and Mary are so nice and welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends.
Lovely place to stay, in the center of town, excellent food, rooms recently refurbished and excellent.
Very good location of property. Friendly owners.
