We had a wonderful time at the Yellow Rose. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts were more than forthcoming. They asked about our preferences for breakfast and I had an Irish breakfast, while my partner had a vegetarian breakfast. Everything was great.

What Guests Said About Ballycastle:

We didn't realise how close Ballycastle is to the beach.

We didn't realise how close Ballycastle is to the beach. It was great to be able to walk there and back. We enjoyed an evening drink in Healy's bar which serves an excellent pint of Guinness. We ate at Killala Restaurant about 15 minutes from Ballycastle. Staff there are friendly with great food. We especially liked the chocolate tart with ginger ice-cream. Mary's bakery in Ballycastle was open at 9am and we enjoyed freshly baked scones and pastries before going to visit Downpatrick Head.

A lovely quiet village, with a beautiful bakery called Mary’s Bakery. All beautiful goods cooked on the day fresh and home made! Bally castle village is also not far from the breath taking Downpatrick head! A must see no matter sunshine or rain, we were lucky to experience it in both
