Set in Pullathomas village, the family-run Kilcommon Lodge Holiday Hostel is surrounded by mature gardens and offers far-reaching views across Sruwaddacon Bay. Location (very remote, but it was what I not only expected, but what I was looking for). Tranquility. Cleanliness. Very clean hostel and all its facilities. Very quiet (I was very lucky enough to have the whole dorm for myself only :-D Very well equipped kitchen. Free coffee&tea&milk&cereals. The owner/manager: Betty: she was way more than friendly. Knowing I'm going to come late (after 23:00) she provided me with the exact instructions how to find my room...etc. She called me and she was okay that I show up later than the latest check-in time.

Belmullet is quite a busy town and busier than we expected it to be. It could support another restaurant or coffee shop, we felt. There was lots to do within a short drive,Carne golf course, Blacksod lighthouse, Erris Head walk, beautiful beaches, friendly people.
The staff were friendly. Stayed there for a night in July 2020. This hotel has gone downhill a lot since then. The meals are not as good as they used be. There was one out of order wall mounted sanitizer to service 253 bedrooms and a lift. Didn’t see any sanitizer outside breakfast room.
Belmulet ....Amazingly beautiful location. Stayed here for work.... short stay. Deffo one of those places will return with family for holidays. such a beautiful county.. it really recharges You.. Ocean Air, beach walks, beautiful scenery, Amazing food and super friendly people .. What more could a person wish for:)
Small town and not much happening in the evening. Very Quiet at end of holiday season. Nice sea front so a bery nice walkway. Lovely sunsets. Easy small town to get around a nice little harbour in the town.
Some of the most beautiful scenery on this planet is waiting for anyone that visits this part of Ireland.Only thing that really annoyed me was the signposting.A lot of them had Irish only and I feel it is totally wrong to expect foreign guests to try and decode them. Why the heck can you not have English also.
Belmullet is a very interesting small town with friendly people and a very entertaining and informative Walking Tour by Neal Doherty. We would like to have stayed there but our pre booked accommodation, advertised as "in Belmullet" was 10 kilometers away.
The place was really lovely and comfortable. It was spotless and had everything you need for a holiday. Carmel was such an attentive host and was so helpful and knowledgeable. She had muffins, milk and butter ready for us which really was a dream after a long drive. Belmullet town is within walking distance. Delighted with the place and would love to stay again.
We stayed at the Talbot on a recommendation and it did not disappoint. It is a very nice hotel with comfortable rooms. Great shower in the bathroom! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was great in the dining room. This is where I would stay again if visiting Belmullet.

Lovely apartment, all conveniences, walking distance to everything in town, easy drives to local sites, easy parking down by docks. Landlords communicate well. We had a lovely weekend.
Staff were lovely and all covid compliant... Great atmosphere. We walked into town to get food in the Talbot so cannot comment on dinner food in the hotel. Breakfast was lovely.
