The hospitality of the owners, decorated and spotless clean rooms and it’s fantastic location near the Blarney Castle. This is a place where you could give yourself a treat feeling like a king or a queen with affordable budgets. I decided to change my plan and left early in the morning and didn’t have time to tell the owners the night before. The lady of the house went out of her way to arrange for an early breakfast. This place is just amazingly gorgeous and I will definitely come back to stay next year for a longer period of time.

Offering freshly brewed tea and homemade scones on arrival, Westwood Country House is set in the beautiful Blarney countryside surrounded by 2 acres of beautiful gardens. We loved our stay here! It was super clean, beautiful and we had a super breakfast! We had our two 12 year old grandsons with us and they loved being outside with the dog, cat and chickens! The gardens are gorgeous!
Mulberry Lodge is located in Blarney, 0.6 mi from Blarney Stone and 1.1 mi from Blarney Woolen Mills, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. The lodge is a short walk to the village and Blarney Castle and an easy bus ride into the city centre of Cork. It is run by a very friendly, hospitable family who live on property. We had our small dog with us; there was a yard for him to enjoy and a larger, grassy area only a few blocks away. The family definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you so much Evelyn, Percy and kids! We highly recommend The Mulberry Lodge.

Located in Blarney, 2.8 miles from Blarney Castle, and Blarney Stone reachable within 2.9 miles, Beechwood House Bed & Breakfast offers a shared lounge, a garden and free WiFi. The rooms were beautiful. We were lucky enough to find a last minute booking when another place fell through, and they were amazing! The host and hostess went above and beyond. We are traveling the country by bus and the stop is 1 km away. They were willing to pick us up and drop us off at no additional cost. We have our 18 month old with us and they were so sweet to her. And the breakfast! So many delicious options! We loved every minute. Best experience I've ever had staying somewhere.
Half a mile from Blarney Castle and the famous Blarney Stone, Lanesville B&B is in the countryside, offering rooms with private bathrooms with free Wi-Fi. Warm lovely welcome made to feel valued as a customer. Good hearty breakfast served at a time we requested. Information shared willingly about local facilities. Owners showed genuine pride in their local area and the service they provided.
We loved the castle and grounds. We could have spent many more hours wandering the grounds and trails. We were there in winter and it was still a treat and very beautiful. The village is quaint and conveniently close to Cork, just a quick bus ride. In Blarney you just walk to the Castle grounds, get your tickets online ahead of time and save 2 Euro a ticket. The pub at Muskerry was great for a pint and food.
What an unexpected gem!! Just a short drive from Cork is this quaint historic Irish town built around the Blarney Castle. You grow up hearing about the Blarney Stone but it’s not until you search it out that you find it’s so much more than a stone to kiss! The castle and grounds were surprising and absolutely stunning. What we thought would be a 10 minute tour turned out to be hours of exploration. It was very easy to get to and wasn’t crazy busy (we went the end of April) with tourists. There are ancient trees all throughout the property. It reminded me of a Robin Hood movie...lol
The guidebooks told us to skip the Blarney Castle but we ended up going on impulse - definitely a must-see. The castle grounds are spectacular and beautiful beyond imagination. So glad we decided to go here.
Barney castle and stone is a one time deal for us, have to climb to top winding stairs luckily cool day and off season it not the climb if not in fairly good shape but glad we did to take off rainbow list. pictures are taken by them and u pay 10.00 to get at bottom we didn't did kiss the stone well looked like I didn't not very sanitary .
We booked 2 twin beds for 2 days. No reading lamps in the bedroom. No place to set shampoo or soap in the shower. No shower curtain so had to use the towels for the water on the floor. No place to set your luggage. Don’t know why photos of the kitchen were shown as you won’t see it.
Blarney Castle was well worth the trip. Not just for the castle but the Rock Close garden, wishing steps and the fern garden which were all unbelievable little storybook settings for the likes of Tolkien.
We loved the friendly hosts, they were very welcoming and helpful. My daughter is vegan and i am vegetarian and they let us mix and match our breakfast and even offered to go out and buy us anything else we might need for the next days breakfast. Excellent location, a short walk into the village and the castle, would definitely stay again if we were in this area.
Eucharia & Fergus made us feel as part of their family. Their hospitality was second to none! Beautiful gardens, comfortable bed, spacious room - highly recommended to stay here if in the Blarney/Cork area. Their recommendation to eat at Blair Inn was spot on! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Check in at the bar - rooms are upstairs and pretty quiet considering you are on the main street and above the pub. Great music even on a Monday night. Good hot showers. It was fun to be in the heart of the town. Walk to Blarney Castle and the Woolen Mills. Plan of a full day in Blarney- or more.
This B&B was amazing. It was easy to find and very close to Blarney Castle. The property was beautifully kept and breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a quiet location, the room was spacious and the bathroom looked newly renovated. It’s a lovely property in the pretty village of Blarney.
The place was very clean and comfortable. The owner was very nice and the breakfast very good. It was located between Cork and Blarney.
