The home was cosy, self-contained and well furnished with all the necessities for 4-5 day stay. Majella, the host, had thoughtfully placed blankets and throws in the sitting room and bedroom for guests not used to the Irish weather. The kitchen had condiments for cooking simple meals, and there was tea and coffee. There was laundry detergent for the washing machine. We looked forward, at the end of each day out, to retuning to the comfort of An Crann Glas. The home also has access to the beach, something we enjoyed on our first morning walk before breakfast, especially as it was a lovely, sunny day.

The place was exceptionally clean, and was lovely and cosy. Great location as only a quick 5/10 minute drive to beaches and grocery shops. Owners communicated great via email before our stay and everything went perfectly! Lots to do in the surrounding area like visiting small villages, and only a 30minute drive from Galway City, where we were able to visit an Aquarium and the city museum. Will definitely be back.
