Really enjoyed our visit to Doolin ,we got to share abit of Ireland with my Niece from the USA and make some more family memories. Even though our second day we were unable to get to see the Cliff of Moher due to weather we changed and went to the Doolin Caves which was very enjoyable and did a drive around some other parts of the surrounding area. Then on our second day we were up early and got to do the Cliffs, Irish weather is never a given but we made the best and still got to do the things we had planned and more on our visit.

In did the Cliff walk towards the Cliffs and being right in Doolin made it quite easy to access it. Pubs and restaurants were great. The host at O'Coonors accommodations told me about a free shuttle to take people to the Cliffs of Moher which I did use and then walked back along the Cliff walk. You can't get enough of that view.

The ocean and landscape around Doolin are stunning, but there are a lot of tourists. Suggest seeing the cliffs of Killdee just south of Moher for equally spectacular experience with very few tourist. Doolin, the town, is ok but not great. One day/night is plenty.

Unfortunately, we did not get to explore much of the town and its shops outside of the pubs at night for dinner. When we arrived, we went straight to the Cliffs of Moher, which were absolutely stunning. We then had dinner at Gus O’Connor’s Pub, which was excellent, and later went down to the pier to see where we would be taking the ferry the next morning. The following day, we spent the entire day on Inis Mór in the Aran Islands, which was absolutely worth the visit. I would highly recommend taking a horse and buggy tour with Thomas Faherty Tours. Thomas was great, and it was a wonderful way to see the island. Be sure to visit the Wormhole, which is very unique, but honestly the entire coastal scenery along the way is breathtaking. After returning, we enjoyed a Wild Atlantic Seaweed Bath, which I would highly recommend, and then had dinner at McGann’s Pub, which was also excellent and had the best burger I have ever had. We left the next day for Killarney, but we absolutely loved the entire area and our stay in Doolin.

Fabulous part of Co.Clare, just sorry we had to go home. Loads of things to do and see within easy driving. Fitzy's Bar in Doolin was great for food and live music, Eddie and Teresa couldn't have been more welcoming, great venue.

We had travelled for 3 hours and arrived early before a wedding we were attending in Hotel Doolin. The owner let us check in an hour early so we had a chance to refresh before heading over & that was so helpful and really appreciated. Our room was lovely, it was spacious & comfortable with a lovely little tea/coffee set up. We were able to come and go from the room without bothering anyone so that was ideal for taking the pressure off with getting back after the late wedding!

Great food all around. We had dinner and breakfast there. The mussels were fantastic and the breakfast buffet had many healthy options. We had the vegetarian breakfast with ratatouille for our cooked choice- genius idea! The scones were homemade and delightful. The hotel is a short walk to pubs with nightly music and is a short drive to the cliffs. Highly recommend.

Visiting for a wedding in the hotel across the road. Wonderful hosts who checked in to make sure all was good when we first arrived. The accommodation was lovely and for the 3 of us plenty of room. Be aware that there is no shop in the village but only a short 5 minute drive to nearest shop. Loads of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.
