Located in the heart of Cleggan fishing village, Oliver's Seafood Bar, Bed & Breakfast overlooks the harbor and adjacent to the island ferries and the Citylink bus stop. Great stay for a family of three. Nice pub with excellent food (get the crab!), a warm fire, and a quiet local scene; breakfast was simple and very good with a nice hot coffee, tea, eggs, bacon, toast, cereal, etc. Breakfast room overlooks the harbor. Room was great with comfortable beds for our family and plenty of warm blankets. Nice and quiet. Excellent stay and value!
Cleggan Farm Holiday Cottages offers self-catering accommodations on Cleggan Farm, in the Connemara region of County Galway. Beautiful location, and so close to Clifden. Great facilities in the cottage. Warm and comfortable. Josephine was very helpful and informative.
Cnoc Breac B&B is a family-run house located 0.6 mile from the small village of Cleggan in Connemara. It sits on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and offers free Wi-Fi as well as free private parking. Beautiful surroundings, quiet, most amiable hosts, tasty breakfast, super clean room & bathroom
The beauty and wilderness of Connemara is unsurpassed in all of our travels. Really allowed us to discover what Connaught had to offer. Was not lacking in any way, from coast to lowland and to mountains. Will never be forgotten!!
Lovely town by the sea. Beaches nearby and ferry options to Inishbofin. A few pubs to choose from and Oliver's a nice restaurant with seafood and other options. Food was lovely and staff were great. There is also a grocery shop beside it. Close to other attractions like Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. Beautiful landscapes all around.
Cleggan is a nice fishing village but there is not a lot to do there, due to Covid I think one of the bars is not open and another is only open during the day we traveled into Clifden for better choice of restaurants
Greg was a fantastic host and gave us a good briefing on how everything worked. He was very helpful with.local information and advice. The cottages had everything..very well equipped including a fab log burning stove. We were very comfortable and would highly recommend a visit to the cottages.
Very scenic and quaint. Good access to other areas of interest around connemara. Great for getting to inis bofin. Bus service to galway and clifden.very friendly people. Lovely seafood. Best Guinness ever in olivers seafood restaurant.
Restaurant over-rated. O'Neills was supposed to be great but was disorganized, overpriced and mediocre in quality. We were very disappointed as we stopped in to listen to the advertised local music and fine food. We spent a lot and left feeling very disappointed.
Lovely location overlooking the harbour and ferry to Inishbofin. Welcoming hosts with nice en suite room and good breakfast. Close to Clifden - 15 minute drive but much quieter and away from the crowds. Great seafood at Oliver’s Seafood bar just 5 minutes from the B&B. The spectacular Sky Road scenic drive is nearby as is Kylemore Abbey - a must see castle and gardens.
Great location right at Cleggan Pier. Room was small but very clean. All the staff are very friendly The owners were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food in the restaurant was excellent we had fish both nights and it was delicious. Overall great value for money
One of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a B&B. Nothing was too much for the hosts. Perfect location with a short scenic walk to Cleggan.
a very peaceful location with lovely walks and Cleggan village nearby. characterful historic cottage
