Everything. The hotel is beautiful, from the moment you walk in with it's lobby and marble staircase to the grounds and golf course ,the room was huge and lovely with a great view overlooking the golf course. We were there for a birthday and ate in the restaurant, the food so tasty and so was the full Irish breakfast the next morning. I used the pool, steam room and jacuzzi, there is a gym but preferred to go for a gentle walk around the grounds. The staff always smiling and welcoming. .Cant wait to go back again.

Great location for our personal preference as near family. Super spacious with 3 generous sized rooms and beds. All needs covered in kitchen for cooking, cleaning, laundry and even baking if you want to. Plenty of bedding and towels provided. There was even shampoo / shower gel / hand-wash provided. Access to a washing machine also a god send! Its a big cottage and can take a while to heat but its so warm when it does get there. Has a lovely fire and a starter pack provided. Kept us nice and toasty! Plenty of room for parking too. Hosts even left a large box of chocolates as a welcome gift. Such a lovely touch!

Amanda was an excellent host and provided anything we needed. The property was quiet and centrally located in the Cavan countryside, ideally located for exploring both the east and west coasts and Northern Ireland, as well as being within easy reach of Cavan town with its restaurants and supermarkets. My wife and I enjoyed the fine views from the property as well as exploring the surrounding area by foot, including the picturesque Cloughoughter Castle about a 40 minute walk away along tranquil country lanes.

Audrey and Alan were excellant hosts , friendly and explained everything when we arrived at the cottage , the cottage itself was spotlessly clean , and had everything you need as at home away from home . Even had a games room for children and adults alike , snooker , table tennis and table football as well as a great selection of board games

Lovely premises in a quiet location with beautiful country views. Pearl, the proprietor, made us very welcome. The plentiful breakfast included home-made bread and scones along with hot and cold options, all provided at our requested time. The room was great with a very comfortable firm bed and walk-in shower. Everything you need for a short stay.
