Excellent modern facilities, very clean great welcome and good information at reception. Especially ( Kayala only 17) with good customer service and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, no full Irish, but more than enough to eat. Location perfect, could not be better.

It is a beautiful home with lots of space. Everything you need is there. Very quite and peaceful. Great location for exploring Galway. I would have stayed longer if I had the time.

Wish we could have met Bill in person as very responsive and friendly on the phone. We were sorry we missed his visit and appreciated his nice note. The cottage was fully equipped and it was great to find scones awaiting us and some other sundries on a prettily laid table for breakfast the next day. Nice layout for two couples traveling together, even with a single bathroom. We enjoyed the fire and comfortable living area and well equipped kitchen. Had a fabulous dinner at the recommended Moran's. The country setting (including nearby donkeys!), with walks out the door, suited us and was centrally located to all we came for (such as the Cliffs of Moher by sea, the Burrens, St. Kilmacduagh, Leamaneh Castle, Ballyvaughan, Maumturk Mtns, the 12 Bens, Galway, Kylemore Abbey, Roundstone, Clifden). In wild and wooly weather, it was very good to head "home" to cozy lodgings.

We liked the large room with two comfortable beds. The refrigerator and microwave were just what we needed for our simple meals. The sunset out our window was gorgeous and added to the beautiful view. Mary Rose was very welcoming.

I can't rate this property highly enough. Booked for The Burren Cycling Sportif, so we needed a decent night's sleep and a fabulous shower. It exceeded our expectations on all levels - clean, vibey, tasteful, well-located, facilities top notch, snacks, tea, coffee, milk awaiting our arrival, a short stroll to Linnanes seafood restaurant, excellent value for money - honestly couldn't have asked for more. The night after our cycle we were hobbling down the road on sore limbs to Linnanes when Eileen (host) pulled up and offered us a lift! So we even got a personal chauffeur when we needed it most. Eileen is a lovely lady and actually we would have loved to bring her out with us for the craic! Next time.....thanks Eileen from the Dublin lady cyclists xxxxx

Kinvara is a beautiful inlet, historic village, in a picturesque setting, with a harbour and castle ruins. It is an excellent central base, if touring the coast of Galway, Galway city and travelling through the Burren. Amenities include a Eurostar; cafes; restaurants and bars. A beautiful coastal village which I highly recommend.

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub...

The overall village look was lovely....but some of the pub standards were very poor and run down....I know this can add to a traditional feel but the Guinness in the pub was poor, as this is a tourist area, this needs to be much improved and the pub we ate in the service was good but overpriced completely....I thought Kinvara would have been better and I would certainly visit but would not need to stay for very long....I was expecting better but I appreciate everyone is trying to make a living and the season is almost over....

Small friendly village with super authentic pubs with music sessions and a restaurant or 2. Perfectly located for exploring and walking this amazing part of Ireland - The Burren. Also half an hour drive from Galway

Location is very quiet and nearest restaurant/pub 3 miles away from the property. Noel looked after us well, we had no problems. Area is flat and the harbour just 50mts away. Great as a touring venue for a few nights.

Pretty little fishing village at the edge of The Burren.

Pretty little fishing village at the edge of The Burren. Easy drive to Galway City, the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Great dining options. Try Pier Head and Keogh's. Traditional music at Tully's Pub.

while renovated in a stylish modern fashion, the apartment...

while renovated in a stylish modern fashion, the apartment was cold. the gas fireplace was not operational. there were no reading lights. and the thick walled building, previously a hay barn, was damp… not good for anyone with arthritis. Kinvarra and the Burren were extraordinary, a visit of a lifetime.. fascinating archaeologically, ecologically and historically.. The castle was closed for its second year. the other issue was the Trident Homes management… the price changed, their website seemed in conflict with Booking.com, and there were multiple threatening messages about up to 500 euros in deposit for damages! Hardly welcoming!

Communication was excellent. Liam and Sally also run the pub downstairs. Both were very helpful with advice on special places to visit the region. Central location to Cliffs if Moher, 20 minutes to Galway. Our room was very comfortable, clean. The kitchen. Lounge area was well appointed with appliances, fridge, etc. Highly recommend.

spotlessly clean accommodation, in a lovely setting. great location for exploring galway/clare. you would have to travel a long way to meet hosts as wonderful as mary and michael! they were exceptionalyy kind, helpful and generous. very good value for money. warmly recommended

The views over the bay. The proximity to kinvara. Noel was a perfect host showing care and interest in all his guests. He is very personable and pragmatic in his daily breakfast routines. I enjoyed his company very much.
