Tucked away in quiet woodland, Springfort Hall Hotel is a peaceful 18th-century manor located 3.7 mi from Mallow Town. Very friendly staff, very warm welcome. Lovely food, roaring fire in the salon. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean, quiet location yet near to main towns. Would highly recommend.
With a 20-yard swimming pool, a leisure club, and a bistro, The Hibernian Hotel is located in the center of Mallow. Guests can enjoy a modern bar and a coffee dock, just 30 minutes’ drive from Cork. I slept very well each night. The porridge at breakfast was even better than I had expected.
Located in Mallow and only 16 miles from Annes Grove Gardens, A Beautiful countryside apartment on killarney Road has accommodations with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED. WAS VERY CLEAN. VERY COSY. EVERY THING YOU WOULD WANT WAS THERE. WARM. VERY PRIVATE. BEST PLACE I HAVE STAID. WOULD STAY AGAIN VERY SOON.
The Farm Cottages offers cottages in Blackwater Valley, County Cork. The property has a garden with views of the surrounding countryside. Free WiFi is provided. We stayed in Billy's House, a lovely old property, but beautifully modernized with everything provided. It really felt like home, and was a pleasure to return to each day after our forays exploring. A lovely location, ideal for exploring Southern Ireland, with towns and villages within easy reach. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Offering homemade scones and tea on arrival, the 4-star Park South is set in 3 acres of land in the Blackwater Valley with beautiful, panoramic views. The definition of a "real" Irish BnB. Warm welcome, confortable room/bed and an amazing breakfast. Will come back!
Mallow is a great stop off point between Cork and Limerick.. Good restaurants in the town, coffee shop, shopping etc. Parking is not too difficult. However, the week I was there the streets were dirty, lots of empty take out boxes flung outside the take outs, old litter and lots of drink cans in the back streets especially in the small alley by the hi b hotel. Black garbage bags tossed out by the bridge with the contents falling out. Several shops in town need a spruce up. A careless impression overall. Its a lovely town but needs a bit of attention. No need for garbage to be strewn around like that in these days.
As we were there for a family function we didn't do any sight seeing we ate at the hotel which was very good and had lunch one day at an Italian cafe which was very good not sure of the name (gialigo I think) it was near the market square. The town centre has a one way driving system we missed our turn for hotel carpark and it was a bit of a job to get back to it.
I didn't have too much time to see around Mallow on this very short visit. I had lunch at the hotel one day and breakfast the next morning. For my evening meal I visited my neice and her family in Ballyclough.
Small not a lot to do but has 1 amazing restaurant Park 83 fantastic food, value for money, service, ambiance, attention to detail & attitude. Very friendly & can’t do enough for you. Places like this are few & far between in Ireland!
Beautiful hotel and fabulous staff but I paid 110.00 euro to be but in a room right next to the washing machine and dryer so did not get any sleep I think when you pay that amount you would think you would be able to get some sleep
Quaint town which I would like to explore more. Nice shoe shops. Recommend a visit to the GLOBE cafe.*Nice coffee and selection of pastries* Friendly people. Heavy traffic through the town but we avoided that, as a local lady advised us to use an alternative route to access the Limerick road.
Very friendly staff, very warm welcome. Lovely food, roaring fire in the salon. Comfy beds, spotlessly clean, quiet location yet near to main towns. Would highly recommend.
