The hotel is in a beautiful location, overlooking the bay. It is within walking distance of a small village, but with all the amenities. Our trip was too short to avail of all the facilities at the hotel, but we made the most of our stay. Food in the restaurant was excellent as was breakfast. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
We had a wedding in the Celtic Ross Hotel, which is a very nice place. We ate dinner there on the second day, which was very enjoyable. We would have liked if we had more time to walk around and see Roscarbery and the Beaches close by.

Rosscarbery is a picturesque, quaint little town, with excellent restaurants. Fiona, our host, could not have been more welcoming and friendly, and made us feel immediately at home.
We looked for a relaxing location to be our base, for us to travel out to surrounding areas. This quiet little village is not touristy, but was so comfortable to come back to after our explorations of the busy cities and tourist areas.
Rosscarbery is a pleasant little town which is very well placed for exploring the Cork, Kerry areas including Cobh and Killarney. The town itself has a number of very nice restaurants located in pleasant clean surroundings. In the locality there are other pubs and eating places with extremely scenic outlooks. Rosscarbery is an historic site worth exploring. We found the local people friendly and welcoming
Beautiful Place & lots to do around the area... I highly recommended staying at Bethal Guesthouse; better than any hotel! I also recommend eating at the Market House Restaurant; to say the food is delicious is an understatement! The Lagoon Water Park & Smugglers Cove is also worth a visit!

I wish we could’ve had at least one more day in Rosscarbery! The area is so picturesque! The host directed us to a place 15 mins down the road- I believe it was Glandmore. We stopped there and had our supper-great price & good food!
