Overlooking beautiful sandy beaches, this luxurious 4-star hotel is set in the village of Rosslare, County Wexford. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly (especially Mary, at reception). We always enjoy our time at Kelly's and look forward to next year's stay.
Located in Rosslare Harbor, the family-run Rosslare Port Lodge offers accommodations with free parking and private bathrooms.Guests can reach the ferry terminal in less than 2 minutes' drive, and... It met our requirements for an early trip to the UK by ferry. All the facilities were available for an early departure to the UK and the staff were very accommodating and friendly, top marks. The house and it's location on the cliff are superb! Wish the cloud had lifted so we could see farther, but that's the coast for you! Our hostess was charming and very helpful, the room was lovely and her garden has to be seen.

Nice wee town that sits right in the Irish Sea. Many activities to do. Many great restaurants to choose from. In fact, too many! 😉 Rosslare is easy to get to and not that far from Even the middle of Ireland which is where we came from. We ate at The Lobster Pot (outstanding) and Pusheen’s Bar and Restaurant (another great place).
Rosslare is a nice day stop especilly with its long beach (strand). Also a short drive to Kilmore Quay ( recommend eating at The Silver Fox and Little Saltee restaurants, around the corner from each other. I’ll have to take a boat trip to the Saltee Islands in my next visit to see th PUffins! (Only there during nesting season )
You can enjoy the Inn still if you have a fondness for the elderly! Kathleen had a charming smile and a good cook. Tea pot was lovely. More than enough for one night! I loved the clean shower too. My traveling companion complained the whole time but she is from England and Very Posh...so she was never satisfied....I was told by my Wales friends they like to complain often. I’m American and finding out all sorts of opinions of others from others in this trip. It’s rather comical.
Rosslare is a very tiny village with its charm. I expected more from the place and I did the cliff walk that was supposed to be a beautiful nature experience but I ended up a bit disappointed with it. Great for people to stay half a day.
We were traveling by bus and train and ferry, so lodging was a bit inconvenient. It would be fine by automobile. We didn't get into the town of Rosslare - we only stayed overnight to meet the ferry next morning.
We took the ferry from Wales to Ireland. This was right down the road from the ferry. We stayed there when we got off the ferry and also the last night before we went back on the ferry. We did not vacation in Rosslare! I don't think there is too much there but a great place to begin trip!

Our room was excellent, after a week of roughing it along the road, Clifford house was wonderful Irish hospitality, pretty to look at and right next to the ferry coming from Fishguard in Wales. Dinner at the hotel within a short walk and amazing views. Our room for three adults was large and very comfortable. A delightful full Irish breakfast, including delicious white and black pudding, in a room looking out across the Irish Sea next morning and a generous late checkout, was a great start to Ireland. We even had sunshine.

The location was great! It's up on a hill overlooking the port. Mary was very helpful! She helped me plan out our route for the next day. I had planned too many sites too far apart. She sat down w/ her iPad & we mapped out a more doable route. She even drove us down to a Pub for dinner & dropped us off. She went above & beyond. I Highly recommend Tuskar House by the Sea!

The hotel was really near to the ferry port, the accommodation was extremely clean and the owners couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful . Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. We only stayed one night because we were travelling on to visit friends. Really impressed though.

Quaint little hotel on the road to Rosler Port. There is a good bar across the road serving food until 9pm and Chinese take-away on the same junction, but no other facilities within the walking distance. Hospitable guests, ample parking space, decent Wi-Fi signal, good Irish breakfast.

Nice warm welcome with a well-needed hot drink & biscuits on arrival (it was December). Good breakfast before we set off for the ferry the next morning. Really close to the ferry port & quite quiet considering the main road is close by.

Hosts were gracious, interesting, and made us feel welcome. A great place to stay before taking the ferry back to England and the dinner in nearby Rosslare exceeded our expectations. Would definitely recommend this property to others.

Excellent service, we only booked room only as we were travelling on an early ferry. However we were given tea/cake on arrival. The B&B is extremely comfortable and we were made very welcome there. I would recommend this property.
