An Cruiscin Lan is located on the Wild Atlantic Way in the village of Spiddal, 1640 feet from the Old Pier, beach and walkway that offers panoramic views of Galway Bay, The Burren and the Aran... Great fish at dinner. Tasty Irish breakfast Room looked over the waters of Galway Bay. All amenities in room of a high standard.
With a garden and a shared lounge, Teach an tSailín provides free WiFi and is located in Spiddal, 3.3 miles from Spiddal. Caroline, the host was one of the nicest people in all of Ireland. The entire house was clean and our rooms were clean and comfortable. It's hard to find a B&B in Ireland with a "King Bed". Breakfast was one of the best that we had on our trip. I would recommend this B&B to all travelers, you won't be disappointed.
Ard Eoinin Spiddal B&B is located in Spiddal. Free WiFi access is available. Each room here will provide you with a TV. There is also an electric kettle. Kevin was very helpfull and very friendly. I´ve travelled with my wife and we were well received, we stayed in a spacious room and add a great breakfast. Plus the town of Spiddal is lovely.
An Caladh Gearr Thatch Cottage offers cozy bed and breakfast accommodations in County Galway, with free Wi-Fi and on-site parking. Galway City is around 25 minutes’ drive east of this cottage. The property was stunning, view of the water, and the property gardens stunning. Two restaurants in town were good. Breakfast was delicious. Our hosts here were the best. They both went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The sitting room with the fire was delightful. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Aran View - Radharc Arainn B&B is located in the pretty countryside just outside Spiddal, offering great views of Galway Bay. This charming guest house offers free Wi-Fi and features a garden. Geraldine welcomed me as a real friend and I couldn't have had a better experience
Located in Spiddal, just a 7-minute walk from Spiddal, Tigh Mhicilín has accommodations with a garden and free WiFi. The house was a beautiful thatched cottage right next to the sea. Close location to Galway city. Hosts were very friendly and had the house well prepared for our arrival (fire lit, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. They even had fresh bread, butter and jam for us!). The cottage is close to Galway city (approx. 20 mins) and also a good location for touring connemara. We will definitely return, hopefully in the summer when the weather is better.
Located in Spiddal, within 1.5 miles of Spiddal, Spiddal Cottage offers garden views. Pasty was a lovely host, there if we needed her but not intrusive. Lovely friendly warm welcome. The cottage was small but perfect for us. It was a very cold weekend but the fire and a lovely scented candle were lit when we arrived and the heating on so very cozy inside. Very clean, plenty of kitchenware, good shower, comfy beds, good location to the village. Thanks for a great stay and we'll probably be back sometime xx
Spiddal is a vibrant, well kept, pretty village. On our first evening, we enjoyed a lovely walk along the pier. On our last day, we had fun browsing through the craft village and enjoying a coffee in its cafe.
Lovely, quaint, Gaeltacht (Irish speaking) area town with lots of local attractions nearby and crammed into a small space. Spiddal is also far enough away (to be quiet!) from Galway and with nice views over Galway Bay and the Aran Islands
Spiddal is about 13 miles and 30 minutes from Galway. We got in late (after 9p) on our first night and Spiddal was buttoned up for the night. We traveled from the Killarneyarea to Spiddal so we stopped at the Cliffs of Moher en route. It rained much of the time but we were patient and got some good pictures after awhile. We spent the following day at Kylemore Abbey and Galway's city centre so we can't give Spiddal much of a review. We didn't go inside the Abbey but we enjoyed views of it from across the lake and attended mass in the Benedictine chapel next to the reception office. We did have a nice meal at Donnelly's in Barna and another nice meal at La Collina's Italian restaurant in Salthill.

Lovely hotel in Spiddal with easy access to the Wild Atlantic Way and rocky coastal islands, including some less touristy ones accessible by causeway. We were lucky enough to have a room at the back with a sea view On the other side, the road is quite busy but our son, whose room faced this way, experienced no noise issue as a result. Staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast is excellent. We also enjoyed the cosy pub across the road, where local musicians regularly come and play traditional Irish folk music in the evenings.

Lovely Irish Welcome with a cosy log fire in the cottage lounge when we arrived which made us feel at home. Great location and a good breakfast with very comfy beds. Great pub called the Tigh Giblin in the village of Spiddal with Irish music and a great atmosphere
Very comfortable house, very spacious. Lots of delph, cutlery and kitchen utensils. Lots of natural light. Good location for exploring Connemara. Loved the sound of the birds, especially the pheasant nearby.

A very warm welcome from the host and welcome tea or coffee. It was VERY close to Connemara Airport for our flight to the Aran Isles. The view from our bedroom window was fantastic!
