Wanted to play golf but the nearby public course charges $230.00 USD if you need to rent clubs. Should be able to speak enough Hebrew to let the gate guard know that's why you are there. Also, there is no front desk to check in at. So you have to call the guy to get into the room.

We go a lot to Caesarea. It is one of the first places we bring guests from abroad. They are so impressed by the beauty of the Roman ruins. Next to a pristine beach. Great selection of restaurants. Great way to spend a sunny day.
Great place to spend a day/night.
Great place to spend a day/night. The ruins were interesting, seaside location makes them all the more stunning. The harbour is cosy, with good restaurants. The Beach Bar is especially recommended: kids can play on the beach while adults drink cocktails in the sunset = win/win!

We strongly recommend to eat at Caesarea port city (Caesarea Maritima) restaurants. Breakfast and dinner! Amazing experience, a perfect place to meet friends and family. We were at Pundak Hatzalbanim/Crusaders in the evening and then at Port Cafe for breakfast. Also, do not miss probably the best gelato in Israel at La Vita Bella.
BTW, before the entrance gate, there is a big unpaved free parking lot (not very visible) on the left from the paved parking (which is always full).
And there is no admission fee to enter the port city after hours.

It is a good location to stay and travel all around. Tel Aviv is 45 minutes away; Jerusalem is about 1 1/2 hours away. Hadera is about 10 minutes.
In Caesaria the beach is amazing. Also to visit and enjoy the old roman harbor. Good place to eat and spend whole afternoon.
“The food was good service at the restaurant and room service were good
The property surroundings are absolutely Beautiful
The location and grounds on the outside are wonderful
The food was very good and plentiful as all breakfast tend to be in israeli hotels”
