The Saratha Vilas are a fantastic place to stay in the Chettinad region - the mansion house has been renovated and upgraded with sensitivity to its heritage with impeccable quality of finishes and furnishings. The staff are remarkably responsive to every request & the restaurant meals are exceptional. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat & a pleasant way to meet other travelers.

Excellent staff. Beautiful appointments and architecture. Almost palatial. A special thanks to Mr. Senthil, Kumar and Mr. Muthu for taking us on a house tour as well as on a city tour. Very knowledgeable. Just super hospitable all of them. The food was very enjoyable.
