United StatesMela Kothi is a wonderful lodge and feels like a small island of tranquility. The property is beautiful and teeming with vegetation and wildlife. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. I also did the river boat safari which I highly recommend - saw a river dolphin, Gharials, crocodiles, turtles and many species of birds and the naturist guide was very knowledgeable.

Beatiful location on and around Chambal river sanctuary.
Beatiful location on and around Chambal river sanctuary. There are also old heritage villages, an old fort and a small area at the river with several temples. Outside the lodge grounds, it is a very rural area, away from the busyness of cities.
