We only spent one night, but we had a pleasant stay. The place is new and clean. The room we had was spacious with a big comfortable bed and an AC unit. If you don't have too many bags and are fine taking a walk, it's a 45 minutes walk from the airport, otherwise an Uber would get you there from the airport in about 5 minutes. The staff was very friendly and professional. They provided 2 bottles of water of half a liter each and a kettle with tea and coffee for the morning. We also found clean towels and a soap bar along with new dental kits and a comb. We had breakfast included, but only had time for a quick bite before we had to go so we just got some bread with butter and jam and a masala chai. Definitely recommend the place if you need to be close to the airport. Just for reference, Udaipur city centre is about 20km away, so you'd need a car to get there.

Closeness to airport was important . Its in a née and upcoming neighbourhood. New property, small but nice poolside ambiance. Lots of relaxing facilities.

We had the most amazing few days at Dera Baghdarrah. The food was the best we ate in all of Udaipur, and had plentiful vegan options upon our request. The tents were spacious, comfortable and well furnished, complete with hot water and electrical ports! I was a bit unsure as the payment method (razor pay) was not one that is used in the uk, however, it worked absolutely fine. They also recommended a taxi driver, who was punctual and friendly, with reasonable rates. The best part of our stay had to be the beautiful setting, and incredible people. The walks, jeep safari and zip line were a great way to see the reserve as well as some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Naveen‘s impressive knowledge of the local area and wildlife (especially the birds!) made our trip really special and we learned lots. We enjoyed interesting fireside chats with Pankaj, who also provided us with lots the information before the trip, and recommendations for what to do in Udaipur after. The rest of the staff were also really helpful and cooked up great meals. This experience was the highlight of our two week trip to udaipur and we can’t recommend it enough!

Dont be restricted to any particular place, the entire property is open for guests so move around and enjoy the heritage. Staff. is pet lovers and take care of your pets.
