After travelling to the North of India, Mumbai fell short of the Indian charm and majestic infrastructure that we experienced. It can be best described as a marriage of modernity and decrepitude, spread over a sprawling mass of humans, tuk-tuks, taxis and buildings. It's a big city. It has its charms though, and I only wish I got to spend more time exploring them. We managed to tour the city over the 3 days that we stayed and got to sample delicious street foods and also visited the iconic Leopolds cafe. We visited some of the inner city monuments as well as the amazing Dhobi Ghats. I would recommend a trip to both Elephanta and Kanheri caves. If yu love to shop then Mumbai is for you!
Nice city, many places to enjoy and spend good time with family and friends. Transportation and food are the most reasonable. One should not forgate to visit gateway of India, Elifenta and Nariman point etc
Accomodation as per expectations is very poor, either it must be very costly or have to accept semi slums against average cost. Public and privately ranted transportation is very good in availability and value for money also. Street food are ok ok type, regular meal is costly, restaurant prospects ok.
After being to 45 countries and more than 100 cities globally I am writing this - the city lacks system, good roads, infrastructure, traffic sense, hygiene, cleanliness, The city is full of traffic, dirt, pollution, traffic, slums, poverty, corruption, etc. Even the poor countries much smaller than India are more clean and systematic for example - Thailand. Look at the infrastructure in Thailand. The public transport is not at all clean - living in this city is like living in slum even though we live in expensive high rises but when you look outside even from 100 million homes you see slums all around in the entire city.
Mumbai was great with lot of history . Good restaurants and roads were surprisingly good Mukesh Lunch home is a must try if u love sea food Weather was hot mid April. Few areas do not have restaurants prompting me to ask my drivers if Mimbai citizens ate out Elephanta caves is a must visit but start early
A very cosmopolitan city with a very vibrant life. A must visit for every travelled. One would find multiple food options, from the streets to the best 5-stars in the country. Its super to get around the city with multiple options like cabs, local trains, metro, buses and autos.
Was looking for a hotel during my Mumbai visit for 8 nights, finally settled booking ibis. My experience with hotel staff to rooms and other facilities was excellent. Hotel staff is very friendly and quick to accommodate any requests. Rooms were quiet big with comfortable bed. Location is just excellent to explore the city and very close to the airport so you don't have to waste time travelling. Overall great experience staying here and would love to be back whenever visiting Mumbai. Thanks IBIS staff making our stay comfortable.
Staff courteous and delightful as you would expect and I got upgraded to a Club Room on check in which was great as was staying on business for 5 days so the extra space came in useful. Hotel is what you would expect of a 5 star hotel, and being just 5 mins from the airport is very handy indeed. Couple of very good bars and restaurants within 5 mins walking distance in case you want to get out of the hotel. Didn’t get to eat at Jamavar but by all accounts is a fantastic & authentic Indian restaurant. One for the list next time!
Very Professional Staffs! Hotel is in the very good location near Airport! I like the sustainability which they follow! Recycling water, no smoking sign , also signs which mentioned about sustainibility! Keeping good standared!! Well done to the team! Also restaurant citrus team is amazing especially hostess i dont remember her name! She was making sure we are happy with breakfast! Asking satisfaction!! Breakfast varieties was very good!! I really appreciate the GM if this property keeping the best standared to the guests!
Best is the location of the Hotel at South Mumbai Zone- Colaba. Located at the main spot of the region. Easy to connect to GatewayOfIndia, Wankhade stadium, Churchgate station, Profit Market. Safety like it is linked to YMCA church. Best for family, Women travellers. Response is immediate. Receptionist helped in guidance through city. Moderate facilities.
The best 5 star hotel in Mumbai. Everything is perfect in terms of staff, cleanliness, ambience, rooms, food etc. Also, the housekeeping is also so friendly and cooperative. The experience was just seamless from check-in to check out. They had also planned a mini surprise for my birthday, which put in an extra smile on my face.
I must say you can't find a Better hotel than hotel adore palace. The Rooms was neat and big spacious. Staff was very helpful All covid norms and sanitization was followed. Food is good. The hotel is 5 minutes from mumbai airport which is a good thing. Overall the best hotel so far i have stayed in.
For business travel this hotel is centrally located in mid town Mumbai. Check-in is very fast and the rooms are comfortable. Almost all rooms have a great view of the city. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are very clean. There as no mini bar. In-Room dining takes 30 - 45 minutes and is quite expencive.
I liked the location of the hotel. Close for a walk to the Hard Rock Cafe and 20 minutes from the airport. Exactly what I was looking for. For a quick stop by it is the perfect hotel. The taxi booking from the front desk was a little challenging but worked out at the end.
Santacruz, Mumbai
Great Location, not very far from airport and best of all, the staff were topnotch! The price is worth it for the quality of stay. Aparna and Kushal (I hope I spelled their names right), and everyone else made my stay feel like home. Definately recommended!!
The location of the Property is good, quality and quantity of food were good, just like homemade food which I felt was the best part. The size of the room was excellent as compared to any star hotel. Overall I will recommend this property to my connections.
Everything. Absolutely incredible, I spend the year traveling and this Hotel as an Airport Hotel and for Mumbai standards is more than incredible. I felt like I was staying in a £500/night hotel. One of my best stays apart from a 5* Resort.
Room was very clean and excellent and the breakfast is amazing they have world-class breakfast I been most five star hotel but this hotel have more variety breakfast then other any other five star hotels in Delhi or Mumbai
got a upgrade to Palace from tower. simply loved the hotel. great staff, great comfort. things are at ease. I would rate Taj Palace as best hotel experience that I had during all my travels across various continents.
The best thing about the hotel that it's location. it's quite close to the Airport so you won't stuck into Mumbai traffic and won't miss your flight. Second it's breakfast was amazing.
The Amber is undoubtedly the best in hospitality, Absolutely I will give 5 star to this place, Nice to place to visit with your family. Due to this you will also able to know what is Mumbai darshan.
The whole lavish friendly ambiance, food was amazing, rooms were all good as always this was our 2nd time in Hilton, one of the best Hotels in Mumbai.
4 star hotel but service is like 5 star Excellent services in all areas from check in to check out and will sure stay here in my next trip to Mumbai
It's a good hotel to spend holidays ! Only the rates are too high. Would be better if you could make it bit cheaper in rates.
All staff are humble , Love service Clean and neatly room
Did not have breakfast location good
