Travelers who stayed in Mumbai near Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai (BOM) have said good things about JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar Airport, ITC Maratha, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Mumbai, and The Leela Mumbai.
Many families visiting Mumbai loved staying at The Oberoi Mumbai, Trident Bandra Kurla, and The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
I have been before. This visit I was here for dental treatment so I have not had time to do much with regards to Tourism. It is a vibrant city. I have travelled alot and would say Mumbai/India in general is somewhere for the more experienced traveller to go. I find it a fascinating place. The rich culture, friendly people, the food, the cows in the street, the autorickshaw white knuckle rides are such an adventure but Mumbai is not a place for those wanting a luxury holiday unless you cocoon yourself in a top luxury hotel where you could be anywhere in the world if you did. The streets are hazardous with regards to traffic. I have never felt unsafe anywhere in India whereas I have in other parts of the world.
Mumbai is a dream city to explore. Many famous places to see for tourist such as Juhu beach, Versova beach, Marine drive, Chowpati's for street foods etc..One should always try the famous street foods of Mumbai. Easy to commute as there are many option for tourist to explore the city.
After travelling to the North of India, Mumbai fell short of the Indian charm and majestic infrastructure that we experienced. It can be best described as a marriage of modernity and decrepitude, spread over a sprawling mass of humans, tuk-tuks, taxis and buildings. It's a big city. It has its charms though, and I only wish I got to spend more time exploring them. We managed to tour the city over the 3 days that we stayed and got to sample delicious street foods and also visited the iconic Leopolds cafe. We visited some of the inner city monuments as well as the amazing Dhobi Ghats. I would recommend a trip to both Elephanta and Kanheri caves. If yu love to shop then Mumbai is for you!
Nice city, many places to enjoy and spend good time with family and friends. Transportation and food are the most reasonable. One should not forgate to visit gateway of India, Elifenta and Nariman point etc
Accomodation as per expectations is very poor, either it must be very costly or have to accept semi slums against average cost. Public and privately ranted transportation is very good in availability and value for money also. Street food are ok ok type, regular meal is costly, restaurant prospects ok.
After being to 45 countries and more than 100 cities globally I am writing this - the city lacks system, good roads, infrastructure, traffic sense, hygiene, cleanliness, The city is full of traffic, dirt, pollution, traffic, slums, poverty, corruption, etc. Even the poor countries much smaller than India are more clean and systematic for example - Thailand. Look at the infrastructure in Thailand. The public transport is not at all clean - living in this city is like living in slum even though we live in expensive high rises but when you look outside even from 100 million homes you see slums all around in the entire city.
Location is excellent for transit stay. Better than a Transit Lounge if the lay over is long. Will definitely use your excellent facilities next time when we are passing through Mumbai Airport and our transit time is long. Our room booking didn’t have breakfast included, but we are sure it must be delicious. We will book with breakfast next time. Thank you and your staff for your hospitality. Will recommend your hotel to our friends. Thank you once again. Regards.
It was an Amazing experience With Ramee Good Hospitality courteous polite staff clean &cozy rooms with good Ac supply.. Near by beach side Complimentary Breakfast was good with many varieties & Dinner too.Food was good Staff Nikita &also other took Good care of us..also for night out u have RAdda situated on the top floor of the Hotel..we enjoyed our stay so tats reason we extended our stay for one night.. Planning to visit once again in future...
We have been staying at Taj hotels for over 25 years and in Mumbai the automatic choice was the old Taj at Gateway of India. However this time we chose the Lands End and were not disappointed. The property and service are only what the Taj can offer - from the door to reception, lobby, restaurants, breakfast and room. This location is great for exploring Bandra etc. which have a lot to offer. Compliments once again to the staff and management.
Good location, Good food (which you don’t get generally in most 5 star hotels in Mumbai), Well maintained/cleaned. View from the suite is worth every penny. Pool area is amazing but due to COVID was not operational Guests not wearing masks near food items in the cafe’s & restaurant were being asked by the hotel staff to wear their masks up was a huge plus for me showing how serious they were about the COVID restrictions
The staff here are amazing and will do anything to make your experience the best it can be. The location is perfect, walking distance to Taj hotel and Gateway to India. Airport transfers are available for a fee through the hotel or book on your own using any app or taxi service. Breakfast is outstanding and rotates daily; honestly some of the best breakfasts I had during my 10 days across India. Highly recommend.
I travelled with my family for a visit to Mumbai. The location is excellent. The rooms are large and nicely taken care of. Being a global traveller I can say that this is The best hotel in terms of customer service.
