The staff, especially Saishha, were quite helpful; she arranged a cake for my wife's birthday on short notice. We appreciated the calm, private beach as one of Booking.com's initial guests. I highly recommend a relaxing getaway!"

I enjoyed my stay at the Racha very much. For me the location was perfect. It is located at the north side of the beach, which is very quiet and chill. I specially liked that everything in the room felt new and clean. I had my own private balcony. I would also like to recommend the connected beach restaurant Yajurved, where I had some quality meals

I stayed at this hotel for over a month. I can confidently say that this is a wonderful place, more than a 2-star hotel. Compared to other places to stay, it's quite quiet and peaceful, and I felt myself safety. This is a new beautifully decorated on the outside hotel, clean rooms with a comfortable large bed and modern air conditioning, which only a few hotels have. The service is attentive, the food is delicious, and the location is convenient. Nearby, you can buy fresh juices, fresh coconut drinks, and nice healthy antioxidant sugarcane juice. There's also the only fruit shop on Agonda Beach, a minimarket across the road, and two currency exchange bureaus with good exchange rates and a 24-hour ATM within 100 meters.

The host, his family & staff, the location, the food & the view. Mr. Hendrick & his family (including his courteous chef & staff) are a bunch of fabulous human beings. This should be good enough reason to stay. The view & location was great. The food was delicious, since the chef took personal interest in making it to our likings. Watching football & cricket matches was fun too. This was a perfect stay for us.

Glorious, brand new property perfectly located on the heart of Agonda beach. The rooms were minimalistic, in a positive way. Immaculately clean, bright pristine white walls with silent AC and fan. Furnishings were more than sufficient; with a lovely Balinese feel to them and didn’t over clutter the room. Little plants on the table and balcony added to a contemporary yet homely feel. Was very grateful for a backlit vanity mirror and hot water delivered powerfully from a large shower head. It was the lovely little touches that separates Ananas from similar local offerings. Daily water delivered to your door and indulgent, soft beach towels replenished on request. The staff are charming. Joshi and Abi on the front desk are professional and helpful. The smiles and laughter of the chechi’s cleaning the room is infectious. Plus Ram the night porter was an absolute super star and you felt very safe coming back late in the evening. There are comfortable beach loungers just down the steps from their direct beach access. It was special to sit out there looking at the stars enjoying a beverage. But for me it was the view. Wow. What a view. I stayed in the upstairs suite. It was the best view I’ve ever had at any hotel. The massive four poster bed was situated directly in front of large sliding doors. In the evenings you would have the cool sea air meandering in as you gazed upon a spectacular sunset listening to the waves lapping. Truly magical and one of my fondest memories in India. I could not recommend the property more highly. There is no question I will visit again. Make sure to book early to avoid disappointment as I can see this becoming the most popular place on Agonda beach. Thanks again to all the staff and see you next season.

Everything went great. I came with my parents, who were in India for the first time, and felt uncomfortable, but all the staff, including the woman manager, treated us with respect and understanding. The rooms are clean, there was always hot water, air conditioning, there were no mosquitoes. Hot fresh Indian breakfast every day. The only thing, keep in mind that breakfast includes only vegetarian dishes and eggs, no meat products. Everything was 100%. Wonderful kind and caring energy everywhere.

We opted for a room overlooking the beach, finding it remarkably clean and peaceful. The cuisine was outstanding, complemented by a highly commendable staff. The pricing was exceptionally reasonable, making it a great value. Overall, the rooms stood out as the highlight of our stay. Morning breakfast with Poori and chai is the best I had.

My husband and I had a wonderful two days at Ekam Hotel. The hotel is well-maintained, cosy, located in a quiet area, yet close to Agonda Beach (a 5-minute walk) and cafés and bars (a 10-15 minute walk). The room was clean and equipped with everything we needed: a comfortable bed, clean cotton bed linen, comfortable pillows, air conditioning, a refrigerator, a kettle and tea/coffee, and a clean shower with everything we needed. There was even an open-air bathroom! The staff did everything to make us comfortable! You can also attend yoga sessions, use the sauna and enjoy massages at the hotel! We visited the sauna twice. On the first day, we didn't like the sauna because it wasn't heated well enough. We pointed this out to the staff, and the next day they corrected the situation, heated the sauna very well and provided a mini pool with cold water so that we could cool off after the hot sauna. Here the staff also provides everything you need: towels, bathrobes, and aromatic oils for before or after the sauna. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the Ekam Hotel! We would love to come back!
