The Colva is ideally located towards the Southern part of Goa. Just 30 odd Kms from the Goa Dabolim International Airport, it is a classical getaway for families. I enjoyed the scenic beauty of the place and the surrounding restaurants. We visited The Joet's Bogmalo, The Fisherman's Wharf Cavellossim, Martin's Corner Betalbatim and The Southern Deck Benaulim - all excellent restaurants serving exquisite Goan cuisine. What a wonderful stay we had!!

Goa in general is so overrated.
Goa in general is so overrated. The beach at Colva was quiet but also very dirty. Disgusting. Rubbish all across the beach as far as the eye could see, Packs of stray dogs everywhere ruling the beach. Morning strollers had to carry a stick to keep stray dogs away. Cows and cow dung everywhere along the sand.

Colva and Colva beach is very busy and very popular.
Colva and Colva beach is very busy and very popular. If you like that kind of atmosphere you will enjoy Colva. Better and more peaceful beaches are found by walking right or left along the sea shore.
Colva is convenient for buses to Margoa, taxis and tuc-tucs.
Restaurants tend to be pricey. I would recommend Kentuckee.

Not a destination I would recommend unless you love tacky bars on the beach with glaring lights and loud music. Very busy beach and not very clean. I wish I had not wasted 4 nights there. A few good places to eat in this very small town. No sights to see here.

the place is away from hustle and bustle of Panji. Someone who wants to enjoy peaceful vacation, enjoy the beach, the resort property, Colva beach is perfact. There are few water sport related activities also which can be done here. Good beachside small restaurants are also available.

It depends what you want.
It depends what you want. I've been there several times as I have worked in India and it's very convenient for a short break before returning to the UK.There are a lot more tourists than there were even 5 years ago but it's the same nearly everywhere. The south of Goa is quieter and I guess so are parts of Kerala if you want beach but I haven't been for ages so not the best judge. There's a good choice of restaurants in Colva and the ATM usually works. You can walk around it in a very short time. There are lots of tourist shops selling the same stuff as every other tourist place in India. It's easy to get to from the airport. I go because I just want a short break in a convenient location with a clean beach.To be honest there are much more interesting places to see in India but they are not beach places. If you want beach go to S.E.Asia! Colva is fine but not "real" India.

We loved our stay at La Ben Resort. We chose a superior room and it was worth it. Clean, tidy, with TV, AC, no mosquitoes in a room. Perfect. Staff members were very kind and extremely helpful. they took excellent care of us. There was a room service available and a restaurant and a bar in the hotel. The best stay in Goa. We highly recommend ❤️

50m from the beach… beautiful property with 24/7 jeep access to the resort which ensures privacy away from the crowds.
Staff especially Ms Natasha and Mr Robbie were very courteous and food in their restaurant is also great with stunning views of colva beach

The manager Sahadev was very friendly with us and flexible to all our requirements, had an extra storage room to help with our luggage too during the day. The rooms were neat, clean and well maintained, overall a neat budget friendly stay near Colva Beach
