I stayed for one night at Hotel Royal Highness, and overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience, especially for a short stay. The hotel offers a good combination of location convenience, spacious premises, and courteous service. The location is a strong advantage. The hotel is situated close to Tinsukia Railway Station and is correctly marked on online maps, making it easy to find. Shops and auto-rickshaws are readily available nearby, which adds to the convenience of local travel. The bus stand is approximately 800 meters away, making the hotel well connected for onward journeys. The hotel premises are large, clean, and well maintained, creating a positive first impression. The overall environment feels organized and calm. The room was clean and comfortable, with fresh bedsheets, clean towels, and basic toiletries provided. One highlight of the room was the big windows facing the city, which allowed natural light and offered a pleasant view. The room had sufficient lighting and silent surroundings, ensuring a restful stay. The bathroom was functional but could be cleaner, which is an area where improvement would enhance the overall guest experience. Other than this, the room felt safe and secure, suitable for solo travelers and short business or transit stays. The hotel follows a half-board system, under which there is a food limit of ₹650 per person. This detail was not mentioned beforehand, which could be communicated more clearly to guests. However, the food quality was good, and the meals served were tasty and satisfying. The staff members were responsive, polite, and well mannered, and service throughout the stay was smooth. A daily newspaper was provided, and the room included a TV with working channels. Overall, Hotel Royal Highness was a good choice for a short stay, offering comfort, convenience, and value in a central location.

👍 Fantastic Stay at Makum Homestay! I recently had a wonderful experience at Makum Homestay and would highly recommend it! The location is excellent—it's an easy walking distance from the main road, making travel simple. The property itself is a new building with a great interior; everything felt fresh and modern. We really appreciated the full privacy we were given, and the inside car parking was a huge bonus for security and convenience. Finally, the host was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome. A perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and great hospitality!
