Excellent property! Great ambience, food was awesome, their service was exceptional as well. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. High quality rooms and high quality service. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was spacious and clean. This place has left the best impressions. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list. The best stay ever. Away from all the commercial mess, an oasis with super service, to relax and feel at home away from home in idealistic setting. Its about the people. Subhay the caretaker Faizal the chef Udaya the nature walker Taj Service. Pleased although i went with doubts after reading reviews on Taneerhulla Cottage. With slight upgrades, its lovely.

As a city, people are illiterate when it comes to driving.

As a city, people are illiterate when it comes to driving. All th roads sucks. If you r planning a road trip, you an your bike is dead. All the roads including the main road sucked. Climate, food, spices, places to visit and photos are all nice. But people hate if they see KA01 registration or other state. They wantedly try to hit u. Won’t give you way, will wantedly block ur way. People are not friendly nor literate.

If you want a holiday in the country side with no urban...

If you want a holiday in the country side with no urban distractions this is an ideal place for a quiet holiday in the midst of nature. Yet you are not far from the conveniences of urban life. Gonikoppa has all the conveniences of a large city while still being a small town/ rural area.

Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected.

Wonderful place, but the weather was not as we expected. It was too hot and humid instead of typical Coorg weather. However, the town had a lot of spices and home made products for us to shop and take back home. The place was pleasant with nature, birds, and other stuff.
