Polite welcoming by receptionist, the room was tastefully furnished, immaculately clean and equipped with everything you may need. We found it very convenient that bus stand and railway station are in a distance of approx. 1 km. A Tuktuk stand is located right opposite of the hotel. We can highly recommend this well maintained accommodation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Windsor Castle. The villa was so calming - looking right out the lake each morning was so peaceful. The food was really delicious, and the staff went above and beyond. We especially want to thank Joina - she was so helpful, even assisting my partner to wear a saree for a wedding we were attending during our stay. She, along with her colleagues were so kind and generous during the stay. We would definitely recommend Windsor Castle to anyone visiting the beautiful area of Kottayam! :)

A place full of energy.

A place full of energy. People here are warm and live in harmony. There are lots of age old Temples here. The vibe in these temples are at another level. You can easily find bus connectivity literally from anywhere to anywhere. Must visit Aaru Block.

1.The,distance from the city and bus stand,to the lodge was a bit far. 2.kottayam buses are really crowded and they dont behave properly. 3.shops also people don't behave decently.they see us more as trespassers.u pass by their shop,they will quip " Hey what do u want " They should mind their own business. 4.if you wear a gobi tilak they will give u a wicked stare as if I am coming from mars. If gobi tilak is banned here in kottayam,it should be mentioned before entering this city.i will remove it. 5.kottayam is far too crowded.its certainly not a city to visit to chill out or for a tour. There's nothing here to see.just the usual shops roads traffic which is ubiquitous. Kind of grumpy people live here.reminds me of my favorite Garfield. Veg food is non existent in hotels.

Quality of food is very low. There is no good restaurants near railway Station or bus station in the city. The worst experience I ever had regarding food in kottayam. Dirty unhygienic hotels, and charged too high.

First of all, they don't accept credit card, only upi payment & bank , so if any foreigner will stay here, how they will make payment, Next only one care taker for whole property, which is not at all clean, bathroom has still earlier guest hair in the sink,, pathetic... Care taker is the nice guy, he always greet with smile , & helpfull, but this property has just a view , rest other things are poor I travel alot , so I can compare hotel service with other hotels too, so basis on that this is just like a motel with a view..
