What a stunning location! The staff here redefine hospitality. The modern tents strike the perfect balance, rustic charm blended with all the comforts you need. Just a quick 30-minute drive from the tiger reserve, it’s incredibly convenient too. A special shout-out to the ever-helpful office manager, Ranveer Singh, who arranged our jeep safari and personally met us at the forest gate with the tickets, so booking through him made everything seamless. And the food… absolutely delicious! We ended up overeating at every meal. Already looking forward to returning next year!

Hospitality, food and helping staff with personalized service.

Breakfast was good. There were several choices for a traditional American breakfast and lots of choices for a traditional Indian breakfast. Our room had a view of the lake with mountains behind it. The grounds are beautifully manicured with lots of flowers and a pool. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. The staff is very attentive and speak enough English to get by.

Shivir Aranya is an oasis!! Such a beautiful place, located close enough to the Tiger Reserve to enjoy that, but set at the foot of the mountains and in the midst of a small village of farmers, to feel very serene. There are so many activities there that you can take advantage of and everything looks so new and fresh!! The grounds are so pretty, and the rooms are clean and offer everything that you need. The staff was wonderful - so respectful and extremely helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a lovely time there. As an American tourist, I was also very thankful for the grilled cheese sandwiches on the menu! Lol. I would love to return here again!!

Quality food, less items but taste was ok.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing ambiance. The highlight of my stay was the incredibly warm and welcoming staff, who went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my visit was memorable. From quick check-ins to personalized service, their attention to detail was truly commendable. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a variety of options to suit every palate. Whether you're seeking tranquility or adventure, this retreat is a great choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

1) PROXIMITY: Every visitor intend to have Sariska Tiger Safari must know that there are 2 gates to enter andthe gates are poles apart! So visitors must choose first the gate. For those who are choosing Sariska Gate, this resort is now The Nearest place to stay, as Sariska Palace is currently closed due to ongoing restoration. 2) AMBIENCE & TRANQUILITY: In both ways, either if you are going for adventure of Jungle Safari or just for tranquil staycation, its tents are The Best Place to stay. The only barrier between dense jungle and the tents are a simple wall to to protect you. If you check my photos, look carefully the backdrop , you can understand, the tents are literally adjacent to jungle. 3) HOSPITALITY: Good polite, humble, helpful staffs are essential part of any place to stay. It is BAU in terms of IT / Management. But when the owner himself greets and treats you all the time, even he himself drives a Maruti Gypsy to take you to an Evening Safari searching for Leopards, Hyaenas & their prey Hares - nothing better you can imagine on level of hospitality. It is more than the 5-star. If you check my photos, you can find on driving seat. 4) FOOD: Again tasty food at a clean AC restaurant served by polite helpful waiters, is just an essential part, a BAU in terms of IT / Management. But what is 5-star is their massive Breakfast which includes 15 different items and the special dish - The Jungle Chicken. (Sorry to mention that - I cannot guide you on special Veg item, as we being The Bongs are strictly non-Vegetarian) 5) VALUE ADDED SERVICE: I always prefer to go via Vande Bharat / Shatabdi / Flight, and then take a local cab service there to roam around who knows local condition of roads, local language, and local rules & regulations. So though Sariska is the nearest forest / jungle from Gurgaon, I requested the resort to arrange a pick-n-drop-n-sightseeing cab for me. They arranged The Best one.
