    Somnath is all about the Somnath Shiv Jyotirling and is an important pilgrimage. People come just for the darshan at the temple, which is very well organised, arrangements for darshan and other facilities, very smoothly managed.

    Exceptionally beautiful Somnath temple (the new one!). The sound and light show is very good too, though the commentary is unnecessarily politicized (pro BJP....even Sardar Patel is mentioned without his Congress connect). The administration has made exceptional arrangements for the old and handicapped (free buggy, a lift to go to the 1st floor etc). The lighting of the new temple is fab. The location next to the sea is fab! It's a very clean temple, and extremely well maintained! The old temple is very small and frankly, a disappointment, but considering that it is so revered, it is a must visit!

    The temple is amazing and the beach is also very soothing I also visited Daman and Diu which was cherry on the cake overall enjoyed the trip pretty well its just i would suggest others travelling to take care about the heat waves and hot humid Climate it can take a toll on you if you are travelling by a two wheeler or bus most preferable conveyance would be a four wheeler

    Beautiful Temple of Lord Shiva ,one of the Jyotirling 🙏, just beside the sea shore. Activities like , safari in GIR national forest at Sasan and Devaliya park is one of the best option to spend time with family On the way to Devaliya park for safari there is place called Ramdoot Farm , a roadside dhaba, but a very rustic place to have lunch, they serve local food made of veritables grown in their farm. Highly recommended....

    Well maintained.

    Well maintained. No VIP and payment queues anywhere for the temple. Perhaps there would be English writings also in the temple along with Hindi and Gujrati for other travellers. Light and sound show was good. Great is the Lord. And the trustees who created it. Gujrati thali is good enough for a meal. Gir forest is a nice place one should not miss.

    Excellent Customer Service upon early arrival by Sakib who upgraded my room without any extra cost so I could check-in early into my room around 8am. Many Thanks Sakib for all your Help as I was tired after traveling Overnight in AC Sleeper Bus from Ahmedabad to Somnath on extremely bad bumpy road. Many Thanks to Narayan who helped sort out payment issue as my daughter who booked hotel for me wanted to pay by herself.

    Nothing.. Even you can not get drinking water in time. No generator during power cut. You have to adjust with hand fan They will take full AC room charge even full day 24 hrs power cut. No generator. Horrible condition. Foul smell. Idiot hotel manager. Worst hotel I have ever stay in my life.

    It was raining here, therefore the train reached Somnath from Ahmedabad late by 8 hours. Our booking was from 27,August 2024 but reached on 28th August 2024, yet I am being charged from 27th, August 2024, missing a day, suppose not to.
