We had a fabulous time staying in this homestay. The family who runs it is absolutely fabulous! They are adorable, kind, generous and conversations can be endless. They really take care of their homestay and make sure you have all you need. I was working remotely and they made the impossible for me to have a space to be comfortable and work well. The room is small but very clean and comfy. The bathroom is outside but you have your own and it's also clean. There is a bit of a garden space and the living room in the old house is cozy and homey. We had b'fast every morning and it was also very good!! All yummy. Definitely a pleasure to stay with them!

This was our second visit after 15 years. The current management has maintained the property exceptionally well and made few ornamental improvements. The quality of service was very good. Food is simple but very delicious. The dining area, like before, is an authentic display of Sikkimese culture and ethnic history.

It's a off beat location and a superb place to be away from the hustle of the main city. The view was awesome and good see all of Gangtok from our bedroom . Everything about Kengbari was amazing! Truly a special stay for us. The apartments are lovely, fantastically designed, super spacious and made me feel right at home. Absolutely loved how nestled away in nature everything is. The restaurant was great and the food was tasty! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating and the owner made us feel welcome and made sure we received the best treatment while staying there.
