Neat and clean facility, courteous and very helpful staff. Very interactive team giving correct information and not pushy. Loved their behaviour. Will be a task to maintain and set the consistency level. I would say perfect value for money.

During my recent visit, I was treated to a quintessential Kerala breakfast and a stay at a charming location in Vaikom. The breakfast was a delightful journey through Kerala's culinary heritage. From the soft and fluffy Appam served with a delectable vegetable stew, was a particular highlight. The flavorful Puttu paired with a spicy curry, each dish was a testament to the region's culinary expertise. The attention to detail in the preparation of each dish was evident, and I savored every bite. "Steeped in history and adorned with antique design, Anand Wood stay is a breath taking retreat that seamlessly blends old-world charm with modern luxury. The property exuded a sense of peace and tranquility, with well-appointed rooms and attentive staff. The highlight of my stay was the breath taking view of the backwaters, which I enjoyed from the comfort of my room. The serene surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. Overall, my experience of a typical Kerala breakfast and stay in Vaikom was nothing short of exceptional. From the delicious flavors of the breakfast to the serene ambiance of the stay location, every aspect of my visit left a lasting impression. I loved everything about this property , the host was always in constant touch with me even before our arrival ensuring we had a comfortable stay . His parents lived in the ground floor and they are such a gem and treat us like their own family. This house is more beautiful than what is shown in pictures . A heaven in vaikom I would say . My kids refused to step out of the house due to heat and all room are equipped with AC. We have some smiling care takers who are always at our service . The food provided by them was outstanding more than a five star hotel be it quality and quantity. They made special preparations for my kids who are 4yrs and 7yrs and pampered them so much during our stay. Really I felt like I was visiting my own relatives house for the comfort and safety provided by them . The bathroom were kept so clean and the entire house was cleaned every day . The dishes and dining were also kept clean all the time. It was totally worth every penny spent. And the host and his family are doing a fab job .

This place is pure magic! Absolutely loved my stay here. The most peaceful location beside Lake Vembanad, the saltwater pool is lovely to dip in, the staff so friendly, the cottages are so lovely and spacious but the highlight has to be the food. Incredible meals! I will definitely be back.

Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks...

Didn't see much of the main part of Vaikom but did walks around the homestay. Visited a Temple and was lucky enough to see a ceremony which involved drumming, dancing, elaborate make-up and fire. There is a Ghandi memorial park to see which is very interesting.
