Exceptional service and truly memorable stay My stay at Elements by Rosetta was genuinely excellent from day one until check-out. From the moment I arrived, I felt extremely well welcomed and looked after. The entire team deserves great praise. Every staff member was professional, attentive, kind, and always doing their best to make guests feel comfortable. What really impressed me was the personal touch — the team even knew me by my name, which says a lot about their level of care and hospitality. The breakfast was outstanding: very rich, high quality, and offering a great variety. It was clearly prepared with attention and care, and it was a great start to each day. I would like to give a very special thanks and big applause to the General Manager, Mr. Abhishek Dhar. He went above and beyond to turn a small inconvenience into a positive experience. On New Year’s Eve, during the gala dinner, food was served later than agreed. Although it was an unfortunate mistake , the General Manager personally came to apologize, which was very much appreciated. This shows true leadership, strong management values, and respect for guests. During the remaining days of my stay, he made sure that I was exceptionally well taken care of. Overall, Elements by Rosetta is a genuinely great place with excellent service, strong management, and a team that truly cares about its guests. I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.

I stayed for one night at Mansao Curtorim – A CGH Earth SAHA Experience, and from the moment I arrived, I felt as though I had stepped back in time, in the very best way. The setting is exceptional, a beautifully restored ancestral Goan home with unique antique wooden furniture, spotless rooms, and shared spaces that invite you to slow down rather than rush through. The balcão, shared living room space, and garden areas are all impeccably maintained and full of quiet character. The architecture was a major reason I chose to stay here, and it exceeded expectations, authentic, elegant, and deeply atmospheric. The village surroundings are tranquil, with birdsong and a sense of calm that’s increasingly rare. What truly set this stay apart was the feeling of being a guest, not a customer. While still en route to the property in my driver’s car, I received a phone call asking what I might like for lunch. That small but thoughtful gesture set the tone for everything that followed. Time genuinely slowed down here. The food was a highlight. I didn’t even look at a menu. After a brief conversation about dietary requirements, I simply trusted the kitchen, and I was rewarded with beautifully prepared, traditional Goan dishes. Not knowing what would arrive next only enhanced the experience. Each meal felt home style, confident, and deeply local, I was born in Ireland, and this was important to me as a tourist in India for the 2nd year in a row. I want to make special mention of Mr. Nazeem Shaikh, the manager, who embodies the spirit of this place. He sat with me during check in, and we had a warm, unhurried conversation about what I hoped to get from my stay and my time in South Goa. He was calm, attentive, thoughtful, and exceptionally well informed. He assisted with arranging private transport, offered excellent local recommendations, and consistently anticipated needs without ever being intrusive. One small example says everything.

We really liked this place. It's like being at home. SO much better and nicer than a rented room and for a lower price. It has all you need for a perfect stay. The area is calm and beautiful. Unspoiled, practically deserted beaches are 5 minutes away. You will need your own transport (we used a rented scooter). The swimming pool is next to the carpark in front of the apartments entrance, so you're very unlikely to use it, and the bed is hard, but otherwise it's great, and for the price it's excellent!

Varca is an underrated peaceful town in South Goa.

Varca is an underrated peaceful town in South Goa. It has a big, beautiful church which lights up at night and is something special to see. The Varca beach is clean and amazing to be at if you love space, peace and solitude specially with your loved ones. There are some underrated cafes to sit and sip coffee and shops which can help you with your daily need. Varca hosts some of the best 5 star and boutique properties of South Goa and is a town which is close to Benaulim and Colva as well. Overall, Varca is an alternative option if you want to stay in a more intimate location which is not part of the herd or the usual Benaulim & Colva geography & it helps you explore authentic South Goa which has historic cultural tradition as well as a polish tourist vibe.

We just spent 4 wonderful days at Caravela Beach Resort, Goa, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel at home. The property itself is pristine, the beach is beautifully maintained and so clean, and the food—absolutely delicious! Every meal felt like a treat, lovingly served by the most courteous staff. The highlight for me was the mini golf, which completely won my heart, while my little one had the time of her life exploring, playing, and soaking in the joy of the resort—so much so that she isn’t ready to go back to Gurgaon! A heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our stay special—there are too many names to remember, but a special mention to Pooja and Saroja at the front desk, Satya Narayan Singh, Amit, Nitika from restaurant and Fatima from housekeeping, and Babyrose from guest reception. Each one of you went above and beyond to make our holiday truly memorable. Kudos to the entire Caravela team, you’ve given us memories to cherish, and we can’t wait to be back!

Less crowds at beaches so good for privacy.

Less crowds at beaches so good for privacy. Food joints/ grocery shops limited compared to North Goa (except the market place). Most South Goa beaches nearby. Cheaper stays than North Goa. Peaceful place. Transportation costly and may be an issue depending on where you stay

We stayed in Caravela Beach Resort for one beautiful and resftful week. In this time, my family and I were able to relax and unwind to our hearts content. The service and accomodation at Caravela beach resort was superb as it encompassed all the kind, caring and openly-communicative staff. Everyone from the cleaning staff, the buggy drivers, the welcoming receptionist, the waiters, the bar tenders, life guards, security and ALL the managers made sure that we were fully satisfied with our stay. They have gone above and beyond what anyone would expect from the services of a hotel. A massive shoutout to Ankit, Shavon, Madonna, Koshal and ALL the managers who always approached us and checked on us wherever we were in the hotel if we ever needed any assistance for anything. We cannot remember everyone's names, but if we can; We would list down everyone's names. We highly recommend this hotel to any tourist or holiday makers. Thank you Caravela!

Huge beach, quiet, white sands, could swim in sea [albeit a sign warning of jelly fish – so we didn’t risk it] Lifeguard on duty for hotel. We had private beach area in front of hotel. Much quieter than the beaches north goa - less commercialised. Only about 4 / 5 shacks – excellent food and cheap as chips. Completely different experience to north Goa. There is very little to no shopping nearby - need to take a taxi to local towns. If you want a quiet relaxing holiday - Varca is the place.
