Exceptional for the money they asked, perfect state of everything, good breakfast, also good options for dinner, self check-in. Very friendly staff, no noise. It might look far from points of interest, but there are a lot of them easy accessible by car (within 1 hour), and almost half of the island you can visit from there within 4-5 hours. Actually, for the 10 nights of our travel we came back here 3 times and this hotel was the best on island by the all our criteria

The house is super lovely and comfortable, spacious rooms, well equipped, and the owners are so nice. The hot tub outdoor with nice view is really enjoyable. Our kids also had lots of fun in the field with the owner's cute dogs and beautiful horses. Good price is another plus, highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. From location to host to facilities. There are farm animals roaming around the property and you can pet them. The location is in middle of a horse breeding farm and host is more than happy to show you around the property. He happily gave us a tour of horse stable and how he trains the horse. Both host's are very friendly and flexible with check-in and checkout. Great view of Icelandic country side and it gets pretty dark at night outside, so perfect location to see Aurora. Definite recommendation.

My favorite place on the Ring Road! A cute little cottage with 2 separate bedrooms, a small kitchenette and nice bathroom. The bedroom was dark, and the bed comfortable. There were walking trails out the door, with games and signs about trolls and fairy tales. The grounds had a separate area for the camping huts and lodges, hot tubs, and cooking areas for campers. The restaurant was wonderful, with tables overlooking a falls. There is a ginormous record collection and you could request a favorite.
