We booked at the very last moment after deciding the nearby property our travel agency had booked was just not adequate. We booked while sitting in the car and actually arrived at the hotel before the booking. The host (Einar, thanks) was very welcoming and we were pleased to find such a clean comfortable place. A room with a sea view and good breakfast were very welcome. Einar was a wealth of information and suggestions for the local and not so local area (best routes, restaurants, thermal springs). All in all, a very good decision to change our plans.

This property is 3.7 mi from the Route 1 Ring Road. Free slippers, a bathrobe, and use of the summer outdoor swimming pool in Hótel Húni's rooms.

It’s like a school with residence and apartments. It had a swimming pool and a hot tub. The apartment was lovely and spacious with an entrance near it. The two bedrooms were nice and the beds cozy. The kitchen was well-equipped and it had a big tv screen.

Great facilities, in mint condition. Close to road #1 and to F35. Tranquil location, but close to major main routes. Owner and stuff were very welcoming. Cottage is spacious and easily accommodated our family of 5 adults. We woke up to find a flat tire in our car, and the owner resourcefully helped us to get to a near by garage. Thank you, Einar!!

This house is just amazing if you wanna have private place in nice nature with everything you need. The kitchen is fully staffed and with main ingredients you could need for cooking. Living room so comfortable and bedrooms are so spacious and cute. We were in such private that we didn’t have to put down the curtains to watch if there will be northern lights. And the hot tub is soo amazing.

We stayed in the main lodge, which is wood paneled, well heated, features an expansive kitchen, and was overall very cozy. The man who welcomed us and checked us in was very nice. A supermarket and restaurants are within short walking distance.
