I liked the remoteness and the nice employees. It was early in the season but it felt a bit like you were in a place that was once bustling with activity but now only holds a few guests. Over all amazing!

Stunning location, made more fun by being part of a working farm. The host was excellent, and the handmade clothing and souvenirs available for sale were also wonderful.

How friendly the staff was. It was self service at the bar so it was wery easy to get what you want, when you wanted it. Ter room was nice and wery clean.

The room was really clean and the shower was roomy. Bed was so comfortable. Had a fridge which is a nice bonus on a road trip with perishable items. The breakfast buffet in the morning was great....it had all the things. The staff at the front desk were sincerely friendly and helpful.

Exceeded even my very high expectations! Beautiful spot with amazing water and mountain views, lovely staff, coffee and snacks available 24/7, kitchens, books and reading nooks, outdoor showers…never wanted to leave! My family took the day to enjoy and relax, walk to town, use the local pool and enjoy. Even caught a famous Icelandic musician at the local bar. Perfect.
