The cottage is small but very cute and easy to find, as it’s visible from the main road. The kitchenette is limited - no stove - but with a kettle, coffee maker, and microwave, it was fine for one night. It’s close to Egilsstaðir, where you’ll find supermarkets and other services. The area is calm and quiet, and we even met some sheep in the morning, which was a lovely touch. A nice little stop for a short stay.

Andy was super nice when we checked in and himself gave a quick tour of the stay. Absolutely incredible views from the property where you see a small airport right in front of you, beside a lake and Fjords. The space in the apartment was enormous for us two to relax. The kitchen had everything well maintained and all equipment. The parking was right in front of the place (extremely very accessible for luggage movement). Wifi worked great, ample of space for sitting and spending time in the apartment. Absolutely 10/10 experience at the stay for us.
