I only spent one night at Birkifell and in all honesty it was not enough. Birkifell is 100% pure charm and comfort. The cabin is small but comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was pretty much perfect. Coffee machine with coffee, stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery and cookware. The beds are so comfortable and warm. I slept amazingly well. And now what is truly wow. Hot tub on the verandah with clear, unobstructed views of the sky which was crystal clear. The hot tub was hot, comfortable and clean. The only sound to be heard was me. I have never experienced such quiet and stillness before. It was invigorating. I was sad to have to leave Birkifell but when I come back to Iceland, Birkifell will be my must stay again. I love everything about Birkifell.

The room was amazing, clean, nicely decorated. Outside you can see huge glacier, backyard is dark and quiet, so if you are lucky, the northern light show will be unreal. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, but there was waffles with wipped cream and good coffe machine! All in all, it was really nice place to stay.

Anna met us to handover the key even though it was quite late in the evening. She was willing to help with anything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage is spacious and very thoughtfully built in a fantastic location. Kitchen is well stocked and there's a BBQ grill in the front deck! There's amazing views of the mountains and glaciers and there're horses in the field nearby.

Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre.

I stayed two nights and I had a very pleasant stay. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom was very modern with a walk-in shower. The owner was very caring and helpful.There are basic hot bath tubes in the guesthouse one road away, it's a 3 mins car ride.

Easy-going communication with the owners. Superb view from my room. There is a kitchen with almost everything you might need, including a coffee machine and ground coffee. Just a short drive from the ringroad. Compared to the places I visited before, the price-performance-ratio was excellent. The cleanliness of the bathroom was striking.

Haukafell Camping - Tents for Rents is set in Höfn. Towels and bed linen are offered in the luxury tent. The accommodation is non-smoking.

We loved the camping tents, we were lucky enough to have 2 of the white dome tents next to each other which was lovely. The location was rural and pretty which we loved and off the beaten track but not too far. It felt like a real glamping experience and was a highlight of our holiday.

The location is perfect to see the northern lights. It's very cozy. The restaurant has a very good vibe, with a warm environment and nice music. Everything with very good taste!
