This cottage was truly exceptional, lovely location, perfect for exploring the Diamond Circle and Myvatn Lake. Also the perfect location to see the northern lights, we saw some amazing northern lights every night of our stay here. There is a tunnel between here and Akureyri with a 1.650 ISK toll to go through each way, we took the road around which is an extra 15 minutes drive but has fantastic views. We were happy we had an SUV for our winter visit as the driveway was quite icy on arrival.

Beautiful accomodation in the middle of the forest. It is beautiful, clean and huge. There is a coffee machine, BBQ and a huge terrace. The accomodation is located in a remote area and it is possible to see the northern lights.
