A terrific clean hotel that is location somewhat close to the airport. The front desk is staffed 24 hours and very friendly, especially for late arrivals. The rooms are clean, spacious, plenty of outlets and strong wi-fi. There's a bar, restaurant and even an on-site car rental with very competitive prices. They also offer a morning airport shuttle.

That I could leave my car in their parking lot for the duration of my vacation,3 weeks and that the hotel is very close to the airport
We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms.

Our favorite hotel close to the airport - you can walk her directly from the airport on a beautiful walking path that gets you into Keflavik. We like to drop off our car and walk back to stay the night before we fly out. This time - the hotel gave us an amazing room and it was a great send off on our anniversary! They even left us a chocolate bar and balloons! It's a level of comfort post our travels. Will be back in a few months and can't wait!

Everyone I came in contact with at the airport spoke English - a big plus for me as I don't speak Icelandic. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful to me. I had fish and chips from one of the restaurants and it was very good. There is a "Meeting Point" where I was told to go upon arriving at the airport and someone came and got me from there for wheelchair assistance, Very efficient. Unfortunately, there was a gate change for my aircraft and the wheelchair people didn't get the message so I had to push my chair - using it like a walker - and when the gate agent saw me, he was upset that I didn't have someone pushing me. He set me down and pushed me himself.

The town is situated near to the airport.
The town is situated near to the airport. We had spent the afternoon exploring the peninsula there, going right to the tip. There are two lighthouses there and a local history museum. (Free admission at time of visit). It was worth the visit. There is also a restaurant attached.
In the town, there is a main street with a number of shops/bars/restaurants, along with a supermarket. There is also a promenade for strolling along.

Keflavik is easily overlooked by many whom just go straight to the capital but honestly its such a nice little town, there's enough to see and do to last a decent amount of time and in comparison at least for me was more fun to explore than the capital!

Did not travel to Keflavik, we were there at the airport for a stopover. Thought we could tour a little as we had 10 hours but the cost of the bus fare and taxi was very expensive and for a family of four we decided to stay put. The flights are cheap but everything else, if you are on a budget prepare yourself to spend a lot of money on food and transportation. Very clean place, their tap water is amazing, air is clean. Would love to go back to explore but will have to save a lot to be able to fully enjoy Iceland.

Good location near the airport.
Good location near the airport. We moved here the day before our early morning flight. The friendly lady in reception stored our bags and called a taxi to bring us to Blue Lagoon. We learned that the hotel had a special deal with taxis so we booked the same taxi to bring us back, which gave us a bit of a discount. We took their free airport shuttle very early the next morning. The driver who was also in charge of reception was nice and friendly too.

Don't arrive after 2200hrs.
Don't arrive after 2200hrs. You won't get the room you've paid for. Don't rely on information from staff. They give you inaccurate advice re buses etc. The hotel is a 55km bus ride from Reykjavik - a once hourly service - or a $200 taxi ride each way. There is not even a vending machine to buy a softdrink, crisps etc. This place is an expensive bed and a shower and a 6km (aka AUD$59) taxi ride from the airport. Dont waste your money!
The room was simply enormous! Very generous and ample space, good decor and excellent bathroom. This was one of the cheapest hotels on our trip and we were not expecting anywhere near the quality we actually experienced when walking in.
Very clean, modern and welcoming once inside. Very convenient for the airport with nearby choices for food and convenience groceries. We did not try the breakfast as we thought it was rather highly priced. The restaurant stays open until 21:30 serving typical hotel food, so good for arriving late.
This hotel is essential for air passengers needing to check in at the Keflavík International Airport next door from 5am each day, as there is a mad scramble of hundreds of passengers, all travelling to different destinations, all trying to access check-in and endure security control at that time of day.
The availability of breakfast from 4am is both welcome and necessary.
Very simple hotel with no elevator. I got great views across the bay and only stayed for 1 night as I had an early flight to catch from Keflavik airport. The hotel is close to good restaurants and bars. Use trip advisor to find them as they don't look like much from the outside but are surprising inside. The owner shuttled me to the airport at 5am which is a real bonus.
Clean, modern hotel, close to the Airport. We checked in late, our room card was prepared on the reception (no staff contact needed) Room was new, fresh and clean, the bed was super. Breakfast was fine, nothing special.
There are good restaurants near to the hotel.
Located very close to keflavik airport. Free airport shuttle service early in the morning very convenient. One just needs to book it with the hotel staff prior.
