Guesthouse is in the secluded Bárdardalur valley which you get to by driving 15min along the gravel road near Godafoss. The surroundings were very lovely and peaceful. Our double-room with attached bath was located in a separate building from the main, with a small sitting area/lobby with tea/coffee. Very nice bathroom with great amenities. Breakfast was a generous spread and constantly being refilled. Best of all, the location was quite near the amazing but remote Alderjarfoss which you need to drive along F26 (requires 4x4). Glad we went there!

The view is fantastic, especially while using the hot tubs and looking over the fields. It’s so convenient that there’s a restaurant, good dinner and breakfast!

The place was exceptionally clean. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was included, and it was also great. Place is just as it is shown on the website (my pictures are not that great). I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful, expansive room and buildings. Nice, safe campus which I came to learn is used as a boarding school in the Fall, Winter and Spring. One of the best breakfasts in our stay while in Iceland. Fresh fruit, no less.
